Ive been forgotten multiple times on zoom. I log in and wait. No one shows up! My therapist was very young. I tried to like her because she was young and a mom. Nope, forgotten over and over. Excuse after excuse. Then, I was honest about a situation. Judge much?? I was then deleted!!! Not kidding. Month later haven't heard a thing. So yes I rid myself of that BS and went back to my previous doctor whom is also providing therapy for me. I almost threw my hands up and just forget everything. I do not need more problems! -- Davis

Billing details keeps asking for copay
Billing details keeps asking for copay. First 4x it was for $70. Then last 3x $35. I've called my insurance 2x, confirmed i have zero finanical responsibility. Gave billing dept benefit info, who i spoke to, and call reference numbers. I received my eob and confirmed ins paid 100%. They are now sending me a text and email i owe $35. The last 2x I've call, spoke to both Cy and Mike, confirmed 0 is my responsibility but it's still pending review.

This company is a nightmare
This company is a nightmare. You have to do certain things like schedule an appointment through their portal, but if you need to cancel an appointment it must be done over the phone at the right regional phone line. eaven if you jump through all those hoops and cancel a week in advance, you will be charged because this business is a disaster. Then you will spend an hour or two trying to get through to a billing office that is not open normal business hours and you will sit on hold for over an hour only to be told that they can't confirm the cancellation and will charge you anyways. Save your sanity - AVOID this company

Poor experience
Poor experience. The therapy itself felt very basic and I didn’t feel that my concerns were fully addressed or resolved. It may be better suited for a child or someone new to therapy.
In order to speak to someone on the phone, you use wait on hold for over 30 minutes.
There were also significant billing issues, including repeated double charges and difficulties working things out with insurance. Additionally, I was charged late cancellation fees for appointments that were canceled well in advance. Overall, the experience was frustrating and I would not recommend this practice. They are also currently involved in a class action lawsuit during to their malicious billing practices.

Please do not use this company
Please do not use this company! For some reason, they don't understand how insurance works. They charged me a copay for a health insurance that doesn't require a copay. And some how they charged my credit card without my approval! Save your time and and money, go with a different company. Thanks for your time.

Lifestance is awful, the doctors are awesome
I love my Doctor she is amazing. but I have to find a new doctor because Lifestance billing practices are dispicable. I Changed an appointment well before the cutoff time which is 48 Hours, I changed the appointment 72hours in advance. and they still charged me a no show fee so i have to sit on the phone trying to get it fixed

To Whom It May Concern
To Whom It May Concern,
In December 2025, after a previous improper diagnosis of bipolar, I was assessed for ADHD by a different provider at Lifestance Health. After receiving care, I chose to find someone who would be a better fit. On January 15, 2026, I had an appointment with Barry Weed, to which I received substandard and unethical care. The visit became stagnant with him focusing on my insomnia and past medications. When trying to answer questions, he would interrupt in order to write notes and after the session was almost over, he told me I needed to answer more quickly because we were running out of time. Frustrated, I replied by saying if he hadn't interrupted me, we would be much further along.
I sensed indignance in his tone and felt patronized when he immediately said I looked distressed and must be in crisis. After telling him the crisis was his lack of communication skills and his inability to structure the appointment, he retorted a new diagnosis as bipolar, not ADHD. Giving out such an instantaneous analysis with no more information than my sleep habits shows grave negligence. Furthermore, I felt he manipulated the narrative by the alerting the office I was having a mental health crisis and by documenting an inaccurate diagnosis. He called me twice to ask me to keep him as a provider with me declining each time. He then asked my therapist to encourage me to continue with him and after declining again, was told Barry Weed was going to terminate my services with LifeStance Health.
When leaving a review, I found others showing similar negative experiences along with evidence of the revocation of his medical license in the past, furthering my suspicion of his inability to provide adequate care. Barry Weed's abuse of power and misconduct has intensified my anxiety, along with my continued struggle with daily symptoms. Moreso, it has negatively affected my view on the mental health professionan in general, hindering my motivation in the pursuit of my mental health journey.
I am requesting that anything Barry Weed contributed to my medical history be retracted. Please respond in writing upon receipt of this complaint. Based on my observations and experience, this matter warrants a formal review of Barry Weed.
Yours sincerely,
Laura C. Edwards
After multiple attempts to reach Lifestance Health Administration I have had zero response about this Dr's negligence and now Melissa Ammons and Carrie Teter not responding, I feel the entire practice is negligent.

Just the worst
Just the worst. The therapist was 45 minutes late and I had to contact her. She didn't listen to what I was trying to say. I never wanted to see her again. I left a message explaining how rude she was and how late. Nobody ever reached out to me to apologize.
I then need to reschedule another appointment with a different therapist as I had an issue that day. I thought by rescheduling (instead of canceling completely) I wouldn't be charged for the visit but I was. My fault but I never got a response when I asked if they could waive this once especially since I had such a horrible experience with the first therapist. Never going here again. They were better back when they were just Psycare years ago.
