Lifestance has been nothing but an issue. Most insurances do not cover the crazy amount they charge for a visit. My payments went from 35.00 dollars to 290.00 dollars basically overnight. You also have no ability to cancel or reschedule through the online portal. Since they are not open over the weekend and don't open until 9am, you cannot cancel 48hours before so you're forced to pay a "no show fee" if you have an appointment on Monday. Truly this service is awful. Before you use lifestance, please take the time to go over the publicly available lawsuits that they are apart of. Overall the service is awful, the people are only there for a paycheck, and they use every ability to avoid allowing you freedom to remove or reschedule your appointments purposely to obtain a late fee. Stay far away and keep looking for better mental health assistance... Because with this experience it has only made things worse.

I am just now getting a bill from collections for visits that occurred 4 years ago. Their office and communication is horrendous, the therapist was not helpful in my condition. If you want mental health and clarity please do not use LifeStance

Great clinician but horrible scheduling experience... I am a substitute teacher and frequently called in for unexpected absences. When that happened last week over the weekend I immediately notified my clinician that I couldn't make my Monday appointment. But because I cancelled "on a non-business day, less than 48 hours before my appointment", I was nicked for $75 anyway for a "missed appointment." No leeway, no exceptions! I immediately cancelled all my remaining appointments and am now looking for other therapy providers.

I accompanied my significant other to his first appointment with Jodie Ingersoll, NP, at LifeStance located in Bedford, New Hampshire. When we first entered the office, she was not warm and inviting during the whole appointment. She informed us that she did not review the medications with the patients through the computer system because it was the patient’s responsibility to keep track of their prescription refills and inform her through the LifeStance Patient Portal when patients needed refills. She would ask my significant other open-ended questions regarding his injuries and chronic pain, he would answer her questions, and she would inform him that she had nothing to do with his chronic pain or injuries. We wondered why she was asking the questions in the first place if she had nothing to do with it or didn’t have time during the appointment to discuss it. After approximately thirty minutes, she informed us that she had other patients waiting, had no more time to discuss anything further even to review prescriptions with my significant other, and hurried us out of her office. The second appointment with Jodie Ingersoll, NP, did not go any better, she informed him she would refer him to another provider, and when my significant other returned to our vehicle, he was very upset. We lodged a formal complaint through LifeStance online, then my significant other received a letter from Jodie Ingersoll, NP, reading he did not agree with the treatment plan and was terminated as a patient from LifeStance. We called to speak with a manager at LifeStance and was informed by the manager that the patient was not terminated because of the online complaint, but it clearly was retaliation against my significant other’s online complaint. Jodie Ingersoll, NP, was very impolite, unprofessional, and unfriendly during both appointments and the management of LifeStance would do nothing about the provider’s unprofessional conduct. LifeStance is a big corporation, they do not care about the patients, and they only care about how many patients they can see during the day to bill health insurance companies for money. My advice is to seek other MH facilities and stay clear of LifeStance.

This is now the second provider I’ve had an issue with. I literally just scheduled a mental health appointment with her less than a month ago, and on the day of my appointment, I’m told she’s no longer with the company. That’s frustrating, especially since she had to have known ahead of time. The first provider was also a quick turnaround, so at this point I’m not sure if it’s the company or what, but it doesn’t feel reliable. On top of that, they still try to charge me for the visit even though I never got to see her, which makes it even worse. Based on my experience, I’d recommend looking into a different provider or company.

My provider was excellent. The live stance cancellation policy is beyond unacceptable. When you are dealing with mental health issues, a cancellation policy that requires two days advance simply doesn’t work.

I've had a disappointing experience with Lifestance Health. Avoid at all costs! While the idea of accessible mental health services is great, my experience didn’t reflect that promise. When I finally had an appointment, it felt rushed and impersonal. My provider took calls and had several interruptions during our first virtual session, and frankly, I felt like she was completely distracted and unprepared. When the call was over, I knew I was one and done. Billing has been a nightmare. Lifetstance is an in-network provider to me. I was contacted three times prior to the appt.; I was told to upload my insurance information into a web portal. I did so the same day. Prior to the day of the appt., I was contacted once more and told if my insurance information was not confirmed that appt. would be cancelled and I would be charged a fee. I confirmed again. I have one insurance company and it's been the same for more than 10 years! After the appointment I was charged $375 stating they could not confirm my insurance. I've made many calls to them and it's incredible to me how inefficient and uniformed their customer service staff are. I've been promised resolution time and again, to no avail. If I ever see a resolution, it would be shocking. Overall, I feel unsupported and dissatisfied. I hope Lifestance Health improves its communication, transparency, and patient care, because these are critical when people are seeking mental health support.

Possibly the worst N.P. in all of Colorado, Whitney Georges was 20 minutes late to my first appointment. After waiting in the waiting room she took me back and took my blood pressure with my arm slouched in my lap on her couch. I was so upset, therefore reading was high, so no medication for my ADHD. I contacted my primary care and they said my blood presdure is fine just to take my lisinopril 2 hours before tests. And to to test correct. Whitney then cancelled 1 hour before my appointment on the Apr. 9, 15th,22nd and 23rd. Is she gonna cancel again?
