My husband and I both had a couple of things break on our cases. My cell service provider said to cal Lifeproof. I expected the run around and that they wouldn't really replace our cases. I was wrong! THE BEST customer service I have ever had. The lady I talked to (wish I could remember her name) was so nice. Asked for the serial numbers inside our cases, address, email, and $4.99 shipping total. She processed our claim and later that day I had an email saying our cases have been shipped with a tracking number. At first I was bugged that $80 cases broke. But my phone still looks perfect underneath, the company stood behind their product, and had amazing customer service. I will definitely buy another Lifeproof case!

Bought Lifeproof case for my iPhone 6s. Lifeproof claims that this case protects a device even if dropped from 2 meters. That is untrue, I dropped my phone from 1 foot and my screen cracked. I spent over 80 dollars on this case and had to then spend another 140 to repair my phone plus another 40 to buy an otterbox case which is more effective in protecting a device. When I called Lifeproof to report this to them they told me that they could not help me because the device was not there product even though their product was sold to "protect" my device. What they claim about their product is a scam. Do not waste your time or money on this ineffective piece of crap.

I bought a lifeproof case used from ebay and the seller screwed me over by sending me a damaged case. I was able to call lifeproof and they sent me a new case without any questions of proof of purcahase. I basically got a new case for the price of a used case. That's awesome customer service right there.

So I've had this case for about almost a year now and its been amazing. It was a gift from a friend and always took it in the pool, dropped it a bunch of times, been in the dirt, its been everywhere. Nothing has happened, perfect case. Finally the case broke and it has a slight hole on the screen protector so i called to claim a new free case as part of the warranty and it was literally the nicest customer service ever!! Like this lady was so nice and polite. So already got my new case and I totally recommend LifeProof!

For such a large company, the customer service is complete garbage. My phone (of less than 90 days) got water damaged in their case. Requested a new phone under warranty claim. They sent me a refurbished phone instead that's defective and can't even be activated. Apparently they "only ship what's in the warehouse," and refuse to ship a new device. Unbelievable.

Never submerged in water. Took the "waterproof" phone with us to rappel a waterfall. Phone no longer works due to water damage. Lifeproof warrantee does not cover replacement of the phone. So how can they have a warantee or even say that it's waterproof if they won't stand behind it??? Fraudulent!!

Bought my lifeproof case for my I phone 6splus about 4 months ago. While on a boating vacation to Killarney Ontario l unfortunately dropped the phone dockside in 20 feet of very cold water. The marina we were staying at put me in touch with a diver but couldn't get his gear till the next day. After 20 hours in the water he returned it to me. Thinking the worst I opened the case to fined a dry but cold dead phone. There was a couple of drops of condensation on inside of the case. Charged up the phone and all normal. In fact writing this review on said phone. Thanks lifeproof 😀

I have had my case for going on three years, during this time my iPhone 4s has remained in mint condition. My case however has not. Over time the rubber on the edges came off, as did the small holes for your ear, which let grime and dust in. Furthermore, the screen eventually started to peel off, to the point where it nearly comes completely off on its own. Due to it being three years since I bought it, they no longer do the iPhone 4s case (that I could find), nor have a phone number to contact that works (number you have dialed has not been recognised). Overall it kept my phone safe, but lifeproof it is not.
