Deceptive Business Practices

On September 2nd, I paid $75 for what I believed was a 1‑month supply of prescription medication after selecting from the options shown on the website and completing payment. Only later did I discover that I had actually purchased a subscription service, not the medication itself. I assumed the doctor appointment requirement was routine, but when the doctor never showed, I contacted LifeMD. That’s when I learned the $75 was only for a subscription and that medication would require a prescription after the appointment. This was never made clear during the lengthy sign‑up process. The site presents images of medications and requires a medication choice, which I find misleading. When I requested a refund, I was told none would be issued. I have since disputed the charge with my bank. While LifeMD may be legally compliant, its marketing and sales practices lack transparency and can easily mislead customers into believing they are purchasing medication when they are not. I will be seeking legal advice about consumer rights and potential class action, as many others have reported similar experiences.

Liars!
I gave it one star because it was required. What a joke. They are dishonest and will steal from you. Don’t take the chance. I had a “telehealth” visit that lasted less than 5 minutes to tell me my insurance wouldn’t cover the service and how much a could pay per month. The”provider” told me I would be refunded because I wouldn’t be using their service. They sent me a message feigning how they understand my disappointment but services were rendered and I wouldn’t not be refunded but they would cancel my membership. I didn’t have a membership. I signed up for 1 visit because it was the only way they could verify my insurance coverage. DO NOT BOTHER. THIS IS A SCAM!
