Lifefone's response teams' #'s don't show up as "Lifefone". Actually indicated "suspected spam" on the phone. This was a problem last week in an emergency when we needed one of the close family members to get to my mother's home to open the doors for the EMT's/ambulance arrival. With all the spam calls that people receive these days, this is a big problem. Can this be rectified? Otherwise we have been very satisfied with the service.

We had gotten the LifeFone for my 90 year old mother-in-law 4 years ago and were very happy with it. My husband had researched it and found it to be not as expensive as the other companies. It was an easy set up, worked very well, and customer service is excellent. When my 84 year old Aunt needed monitoring at her home, we chose the same. She fell about a month ago and broke her arm. LifeFone immediately contacted me and called the paramedics who were there quickly. I couldn't get to my Aunt's home immediately and got a follow-up phone call from LifeFone indicating what happened and which hospital she was transported to. She is now in assisted living for her safety and well-being, and with my mother-in-law and my aunt both, it was very easy to return the unit both times. I can't say enough about this Company! Thank you!

I didn't have such a good experience with this company. By the time my order arrived, I'd changed my mind and called and cancelled. I took the unopened box to the UPS store and sent it back. I tracked it online and saw to the minute when it arrived at LifeFone on April 16. Two or three weeks went by, but I wasn't receiving a refund, so I called. That rep was cranky, but I figured she was just having a bad day. When she said I hadn't waited nearly long enough to be concerned, I tried to tell her they'd had my return for quite a while, but she wouldn't let me talk. She kept saying I just had to keep waiting. When a couple more weeks went by and still no refund, I called again and got the same rep. She was not only still cranky, but this time she also tried to lie me out of my refund. First she said I wasn't going to get a refund because I'd waited past the 30-day deadline. I said I'd returned my order the same day I got it. Then she lied again, saying they hadn't received it until May 16. I said they'd gotten it on April 16. She saw I was right but then came up with a new lie, saying I'd get only a partial refund since there was a certain part I had not returned. I said that was impossible since the box had gone straight from my porch to the UPS store unopened. She insisted my return was incomplete. I asked to speak to someone else. She snapped that anyone else would tell me the same thing. I asked to speak to someone else anyway. She transferred me to a supervisor, who told me I'd get a full refund, and a few days later, I did. I don't doubt this company makes great equipment and normally has good service, but unfortunately I had bad luck with customer service.

Always there when we needed them. Prompt,friendly service. Highly recommend.
