Pressing the buttom in an area that was secluded, I immediately got a response. I wanted to make sure that attention was paid when I was away from home and alone. I fell and hit the back of my head, pressed the button, the ambulance was there in no time. No injuries nor harm sustained.

No problems with the device or the response. That has all been good. I do find your website confusing. It doesn't seem possible to just sign in with a user name and password, but you have to answer a lot of questions first to get in.

They have responded immediately whenever my device has been activated. Luckily, each time it has been activated by mistake, they have called and once they sent the local "rescue". I feel secure.

My mother's lifeFone pendent was not active for almost 5 months and no one bothered to call or check on her. If, God forbit, something happened to her, no one would know. When I called to cancel and asked why no one check on her, I was rudely told, " we don't check on all our customers, too many to call" WHAT!!!! This is why I trusted this company to make sure that they check on her. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. As long as you are paying, they don't care about the person on the other side of the pendent.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your concern when it comes to the safety and well-being of a loved one. We would like to clarify that the account remained active and enrolled in our 24/7 monitoring service throughout this time. With a LifeFone mobile device, however, the unit must be powered on and charged in order to communicate with our monitoring center. While we make every effort to notify subscribers and family members when a device reports a low battery, once a device is fully discharged or powered off, it can no longer transmit its battery status or any other signals to us. Our records show that when low-battery signals were received, attempts were made to contact the subscriber and family members via text notifications. Unfortunately, once the device stopped communicating, we had no way of knowing whether the device was being worn or if it simply lost its charge. Maintaining the equipment is a shared part of ensuring the LifeFone device is ready when needed. Subscribers are responsible for keeping their devices charged and performing their monthly tests, while LifeFone is responsible for maintaining the monitoring service and responding whenever signals are received. The account remained active and monitored during this period, which is why the monitoring service and billing continued even while the device itself was not charged. We take very seriously the concern that we did not care about the individual behind the account. The safety of our subscribers is at the heart of the service we provide, and we are always available to assist subscribers and their families with testing or addressing concerns about their equipment. Our supervisor also reached out directly to discuss these concerns and explore whether a different LifeFone device may be a better fit moving forward. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify what occurred.

I am thrilled to have LifeFone. To say having this lifesaving button around my neck is perfect. I have pressed it a few times. My son and daughter in law are alerted immediately and 9 out of 10 times they meet me at the hospital. I thought I wouldn't need it when I moved in with my son's family…I need it more than ever. Everyone works and teenagers appear when they are hungry. I am alone a lot but the comfort of the alert button keeps me grounded. Also…they have a great customer service dept!
