I've read reviews that complain about the selection available, wait times and so on. Those are problems with the library not the app. My main problem with the app is that it makes no attempt to make finding books easy. It forces you to wade through pages and pages of romance dross. Let me search for "not romance". Let me mark books and authors as "Never Show Me this Again". My time is worth something to me, even if it's clearly of no concern to the developers of Libby.

Most of the books I search for are either checked out or they don't have the book at all. What is truly wrong, is knowing my favorite author has 17 books in a series that must be read in order, and Libby carries ONLY #1, #3 & #7!!! Someone should be making sure all series are complete. Bad book management. Hoopla is much better.

I have been 1st in line for 3 weeks. If 2 weeks is the allowed check out duration how is the person ahead of me keeping the book for 3 weeks? Very poor inventory and management of "rules".

The website app doesn't work. The toll free number is useless as well. Con Agra foods sucks when it comes to customer complaints. I'm overdue for my refund for 2 bad can's of libby's pineapple slices in which I mailed the labels to the company!

Getting help is impossible. When you do get a book it's on the last page and you have to scroll all the way back to the first page. If you try to type or touch the second chapte in the table of contents , or the sixth chapter when you return to the book it won't respond. You have to scroll all the way through the boot to get to where you left off. It does not synchronize with any other of your devices even if you've asked it to. it's a terrible app!

I love listening to the books, but I don't like how long you have to wait for a book. Recently it said a book would be ready soon and I was 1st in line.The next time I checked it said I was 2nd as nd it would be up to 2 weeks wait! This was very frustrating!

Overall I'm very happy with the App. I love to listen to audible books. I like that it tells you when you borrowed the book. I like that when you download the book it's all there.My gripe with Libby is that when you search you need to scroll to the very end to find a good book. Whenever I start to search I'm offered Freda McFaFadden. I think her books are dreadful. I don't get why she is so aggressively marketed. Once you get past Freda you're offered no 2 or 3 in a series. There are lots of books with series. I now go straight to the end where I find gems like Rivers in the Sky.
