Overall I'm very happy with the App. I love to listen to audible books. I like that it tells you when you borrowed the book. I like that when you download the book it's all there.My gripe with Libby is that when you search you need to scroll to the very end to find a good book. Whenever I start to search I'm offered Freda McFaFadden. I think her books are dreadful. I don't get why she is so aggressively marketed. Once you get past Freda you're offered no 2 or 3 in a series. There are lots of books with series. I now go straight to the end where I find gems like Rivers in the Sky.

I have actually enjoyed the app in spite of the low average score here. I had an issue and the support team actually cared enough to hold my hand till the end. Minus 1 star for the occasional bug.

The app works great for me. I'm new to online libraries, so it takes me a good two days to understand the interface. After I get how it works, I like it. I put 4 library cards in it and the app suggests which library has the shortest waiting time. But waiting time can be so long, especially for new and popular books.

I love Libby but I wish there was a way to leave book reviews on the app after you've finished a book. I like doing research before I commit my time to a new book or series.

I LOVE the Libby app - so easy to read a book on my phone or thru the Kindle app. But I am taking away 1 star for 2 reasons - first, because the wait time is so long for new books -- even when I have tracked a book and added my name the same day (sometimes first hour!) it showed on the app I am still always way down on the list). The 2nd reason is because I just do not understand the "wait time". On 8/4 I was 15 out of 19 on a popular book (I requested on 7/6), so ALL 19 have to be returned by 8/18 - correct?? So why, on 8/13 does it say 5 weeks - shouldn't it say 1 week (especially since it now says I am 9 out of 26 copies). Just makes no sense to me. I did send the question to Libby but no one answered (which is surprising since they usually do answer questions right away). Also -if a copy becomes available to you, and you are not ready to read it - you can opt to have the next copy delivered to you after a certain amount of days -- but know that it might be much longer - depending on when the next copy is returned --AFTER the amount of days you requested is returned. For example - if you request a book to be re-delivered to you after 4 days, and 3 days later ALL the available books have been returned and given out to new people - you might have to wait an additional 2 weeks (on top of the original 4 days). I may be wrong about this, but that is how it seems to work. I have questioned people in my library but they don't seem to know how Libby works, and since no one from Libby has answered my email, I have a feeling no one there knows how it works either. So anyway, the app is DEFINITELY worth having - especially is you are interested in older books and can download a book immediately. Just be aware of the wait times on new books.
