Most of the books I search for are either checked out or they don't have the book at all. What is truly wrong, is knowing my favorite author has 17 books in a series that must be read in order, and Libby carries ONLY #1, #3 & #7!!! Someone should be making sure all series are complete. Bad book management. Hoopla is much better.

I have been 1st in line for 3 weeks. If 2 weeks is the allowed check out duration how is the person ahead of me keeping the book for 3 weeks? Very poor inventory and management of "rules".

Getting help is impossible. When you do get a book it's on the last page and you have to scroll all the way back to the first page. If you try to type or touch the second chapte in the table of contents , or the sixth chapter when you return to the book it won't respond. You have to scroll all the way through the boot to get to where you left off. It does not synchronize with any other of your devices even if you've asked it to. it's a terrible app!

I never use the libby app to read. I don't like it for several reasons why they did away with Overdrive I will never understand. But the main reason is when you have books on your loan shelf it tells you how many people are waiting to read that book. Why do I care, does that mean if there are 33 people waiting I should read faster or I should return that book without reading it so that the next 33 people can read that book before me. Who is the idiot that did away with Overdrive and gives us this stupid app.

It's great that it's free, but some attention to user experience would help tremendously. I work in user experience & would be happy to volunteer ideas to improve this app. For starters, if you could request books in a series in the correct order that'd be fab. I don't want book 4 in a series before I can access books 2 and 3. There is literally nowhere to offer feedback & there is no correlation between ordering audiobooks at your local library and online so it's guesswork at best. I lost access to all the audiobooks I paid for on Audible due to a boycott on Amazon. Surely there could be a social enterprise option to pay for books you don't want to wait 6 months for that could top up the library funding??

Having lots of difficulty with audio books. If I don't use the app for a few days I have to restart my phone. I can listen one day and the next it can't open the book. I went over the loan time but there was no separate notification - I would only know if I opened the app. Fortunately it was still available and it remembered where I was in the book.

Not the best application for reading. Slow, not user friendly, horrible for context translate and doesn't give an opportunity to store highlights. I used to enjoy Overdrive but unfortunately, it's been discontinued. What a shame. Libby isn't even close to what Overdrive featured...

It's not very good. So many options for improvement. I suggest you show the remaining borrow time specifically (I was just trying to finish the last 40mins of a book that was to be returned 'today' only to find it cut out half way through a sentence. Or - how about having the option of a 24 hr extension, rather than 3 weeks? I will now have to wait several weeks to finish a book because other people have requested it. It's maddening.
