Dishonest CPO Inspection Report
You can’t get through to Lexus Corporate. You get redirected to Lexus Brand Engagement Center, which is a joke. It’s all lip service and nothing more. I bought a CPO RX 350 that had issues within the first three weeks of owning it. According to the CPO inspection report everything checked out fine. Lexus of Colorado Springs was dishonest on the CPO inspection and Lexus does not stand behind CPO cars. I went back-and-forth with Lexus Brand Engagement Center for over a month. Their position is that every dealer is a franchise and you have to deal directly with the dealership where you purchased the vehicle. After having issues with the brakes binding and issues with the alignment and a defective tire, the dealership where I’ve taken my other Lexus vehicles for years, fixed the brake issue and got the vehicle to align after working on it for two days. After that, all I asked Lexus to do was pay to have the vehicle reinspected by the Lexus dealership who fixed everything and who I’ve had a relationship with for years and they refused. They said I’d have to pay for it myself or take it back to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle to be reinspected. Why would I take it back to the dealer who was dishonest on the CPO inspection report? It is supposedly a breach of the franchise agreement with Lexus when a Lexus dealership is dishonest on a CPO inspection report yet Lexus would do nothing to help me. I have owned Lexus vehicles for almost 20 years. I am so disappointed and honestly shocked that Lexus does not stand behind their CPO cars. I will never buy another Lexus vehicle and I will tell everybody I know about the experience I’ve had with Lexus.
