These questions ask you about your background, working experiences, achievements, skills, etc. You need to sit down and spend time thinking it through and it should be detailed enough so that your writer has enough information about you to create your resume and cover letter. Once you finish answering the questions, the system will let you schedule a conference call with a writer. I had a wonderful experience working with Barb, my writer. It's been a long time since I've had to utilize a resume, but like many, the pandemic ushered in a lot of changes to my professional life. The process in working with LEG was straight forward and smooth. Filling out the form online at the beginning is just a start to give your writer the basic info they need to hit the ground running. After getting your first drafts back, it's really up to you and how much effort you want to put in to assist your writer in getting your resume to the point you want it to be at. My first drafts were ok, but that was to be expected. My amazing writer Marissa only had my old, horrible resume and a little bit of intake info to work with for draft number 1. After following up with detailed responses to the first draft, sending those to my writer and then having the follow up phone call, Marissa overhauled not only the content of my resume but the aesthetic designs as well. I recently hired LEG after finding glowing reviews about them online from sites that claim their posts weren't sponsored. After using the service, I can't believe that is true. Be thorough about reading every single detail meticulously before paying as the refund policy and satisfaction guarantee are worded very carefully and make it seem like you may not actually have any protections. I was not happy with the experience. From the get-go they have you write several pages of survey questions before you can even schedule an interview with a writer. By that time I had already written an entire resume and then some. Then the website kept glitching and I was unable to submit the questionnaire, which means I had to fill the whole thing out AGAIN. This was hours of work. They had no appointments available for two weeks, even though the website alluded that the whole process would only take 8 days. When my "writer" finally sent me my first drafts, about an hour before my appointment time, I was appalled by the writing. It was a completely falsified document of non-sensical jargon slapped together in a resume/cover letter format. There is no way any recruiter or hiring manager would have taken me seriously. This company is probably better suited for entry-level hiring, but it was nowhere near the level needed for the professional tech jobs in my field. Fortunately, I had a great experience with their customer service department. They were very understanding and helped me get a full refund for the service.
