It's useful if you have absolutely no experience writing resumes yourself, or are completely lacking time. But it's definitely not worth the price if either of those factors isn't true. My writer used canned phrases and threw them at the top, didn't bother to actually read the resume bullets I had spend weeks putting together for b-school/job applications, and clearly just wanted to be done with the whole thing. This was evident from the initial call where he sounded irritated before I said one word, only to then tell me that actually he didn't have much to change in the bullets themselves (so what was he so annoyed about?). He tried to end that first 20-min call early.

Given the company's highly acclaimed reputation, my expectations for the premium package were set very high. Regrettably, the outcome fell short of my hopes. I endeavored to provide all the necessary information, promptly responding to requests for additional details, yet the final result left much to be desired. Instead of focusing on addressing disparities in my work experience, I found myself dedicating an extensive amount of time rectifying formatting issues. Both the cover letter and resume presented a myriad of appearance-related problems, with the document's language appearing notably lackluster. I must commend the writer for displaying a commendable level of dedication in improving the resume and their openness to accommodating feedback. However, the end product, despite these efforts, merely met a baseline level of quality. Subsequently, a friend introduced me to a free resource, which not only enhanced my documents but also introduced me to valuable tools and insights. Regrettably, I cannot foresee using this company's services in the future, nor can I confidently recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

I would not recommend this service for a sales professional in the tech or legal space. My resume ended up cluttered and making little sense. Overall the value of it was the structure of the resume but pieces still needed to be removed.

Be thorough about reading every single detail meticulously before paying as the refund policy and satisfaction guarantee are worded very carefully and make it seem like you may not actually have any protections. I was not happy with the experience. From the get-go they have you write several pages of survey questions before you can even schedule an interview with a writer. By that time I had already written an entire resume and then some. Then the website kept glitching and I was unable to submit the questionnaire, which means I had to fill the whole thing out AGAIN. This was hours of work. They had no appointments available for two weeks, even though the website alluded that the whole process would only take 8 days. When my "writer" finally sent me my first drafts, about an hour before my appointment time, I was appalled by the writing. It was a completely falsified document of non-sensical jargon slapped together in a resume/cover letter format. There is no way any recruiter or hiring manager would have taken me seriously. This company is probably better suited for entry-level hiring, but it was nowhere near the level needed for the professional tech jobs in my field. Fortunately, I had a great experience with their customer service department. They were very understanding and helped me get a full refund for the service.
