Absolutely the worst experience
Absolutely the worst experience with a career service I have ever had. Expects customers to be flexible in a tight market while refusing to actually provide specific and concrete feedback to improve their career positioning. With the state of the market (poor) you can achieve the same 2.5% without spending $800+ on LEG. The owner, Matt, will be a nice guy on the phone and then refuse to accommodate your requests when he under-delivers. For context, Matt spent 45 minutes yesterday providing vague feedback even when asked to get specific. LEG built the resume and LinkedIn presence, and then when confronted on the misalignment between his stated 5-10% app -> interview rate, Matt chose to blame me. Which is strange since LEG provided the materials that only achieved 2.5% interview rates. Clients pay a resume service to get specific and be helpful with converting applications -> interviews. Matt failed miserably at both of those benchmarks, and instead of being flexible, helpful, and taking accountability. He chose to blame the client, and you can hear his contempt for his customers in his response below. I paid $800+ and Matt feels his "complimentary phone call" affords him the leisure to underdeliver and avoid any accountability. I asked for another writing session to improve the resume's performance to reach Matt's stated 5-10% app -> interview rate; he told me to pound sand. It should come to no one's surprise that Matt didn't mention that detail in his response. Now he's trying to save face on Trustpilot. Do not do business with Matt. Avoid Let's Eat Grandma.

Hi William: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. Our goal is always to provide both a strong finished product and meaningful support throughout the job search. I do want to provide some additional context for anyone reading this review. Yesterday, we spent nearly an hour on a complimentary phone call discussing your concerns and trying to understand where things may have gone wrong. Based on that conversation, we believe the primary issue may be alignment between your résumé and the specific positions you are pursuing, and we offered to continue discussing ways we could improve that alignment. During your project, you also shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about your résumé package and writer in a private review. We completed the services included in the package, and when you subsequently requested a refund, we explained that we were unable to provide one. That said, we don’t want a disagreement over a refund to prevent us from being helpful. If you would like to continue the conversation about targeting your résumé toward the right opportunities, we’re happy to do so. You can reach us directly at [email protected]. We genuinely wish you success in your job search and appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you.
