I’ve used Lensmart for years and their glasses have always been high quality. The ordering process was smooth and shipping was quick, as usual. Unfortunately, the pair I received this time has a bent ear arm, which makes them uncomfortable to wear. I’ve reached out to Lensmart’s customer service to arrange a return, and I’m hopeful the exchange process will be just as efficient as the purchase. I appreciate that they offer a return policy and am looking forward to getting a refund so I may try a different pair.

Customer service has always taken good care of my issues and also added extra incentives. Time zone differences made for delay in communication, but always responded to concerns.

I have used other websites to order glasses so assumed that Lensmart would be similar. Their range of glasses and prices seemed competitive so I decided to place an order. Some of the information wasn't easy to enter and I found the prescription section a little bit confusing. Placed order on 26th June for seven items and noted delivery times. I received notifications that they were going through quality assessment on 30th June and then nothing. I waited another week, then tried to contact them using their chat function. They respond once a day (different time zones made things more difficult) but basically there was 24 hours between every response, I kid you not. Apparently one item was out of stock but they didn't tell me, didn't communicate with me at all - just waited for it to come back into stock. Until they were told that it wasn't going to be coming back into stock. If I hadn't contacted them, I have no idea how long they would have taken to get back to me but the entire order was on hold. I did ask them why they hadn't contacted me to let me know but they had no answer. They asked if I wanted a replacement and I said no, just refund me for the frames that are unavailable. Another 24 hours: are you sure you won't choose something else? No, please just refund me those ones and send the rest. I asked how long it would take and they sent me a screenshot of the shipping times available on the website but said if I was willing to pay extra, I could get expedited shipping. My response was incredulous - it was over a month from the time I placed the order, it was on hold because they didn't bother keeping me updated but I should pay extra to get my items. I declined. They turned up today and, to be fair, they seem to be as described, well put together and everything is as described. But, their customer service is atrocious, their communication is abysmal and I wouldn't use them again if they gave me a 100% voucher off!

I emailed them repeatedly to discuss my new glasses's issues, but they just beat around the bush, evaded questions, and kept delaying with various excuses. I feel like if your glasses are a perfect first try without any issues, you'll feel like they're a good, affordable store. I believe the most important thing about a store is how they handle and resolve customer issues. However, their deceptive approach and irrelevant responses are not the kind of service you'd expect from a reputable store. If you have severe myopia, I strongly recommend choosing this store with caution. Their thinnest and most expensive lenses are thicker than my previous glasses. Getting glasses from this store is a matter of luck. If they don't fit you right, your money is wasted and your glasses are rubbish.

Love the glasses! So classic especially given the affordability. Also,the prescription is on point which is the wholee point. I’m soo happy!

The administration was perfect, they got my lenses right and the glasses are comfortable, stylish and can go with different kinds of outfits depending on your style. The delivery process was swift and I would definitely recommend lensmart and would use again and again for myself also. Overall a 5 star experience and good customer service.
