Do not buy transition lenses. I excitedly received my glasses with transition lenses, went outside into the sun to find they did not adequately work, they had very little tint. I compared the glasses with my neighbours who brought theirs from a well known brand, their glasses went dark helping to protect from UV rays, the lensmart glasses had a slight tint, like tinted yellow glasses you can buy. I contacted their customer services and the reply was there is nothing wrong with them, I could pay for postage to return the glasses to an American address and recieve 75% refund. I was not happy so I asked what their visible light transmission, lensmart did not answer and gave a generic answer of the weather when cloudy effects glasses, it can take 30 minutes to go darker. They asked if I could leave the glasses outside for 30 minutes, which is ridiculous compared to my neighbours glasses brilliant reaction. I left the lensmart glasses for 30 minutes, they did not go darker. Lensmart said they had contacted their technical department who confirmed they worked. I asked for the proof of technical results, I got no proof from them. I still have no refund and I'm in the process of reporting the company Lensmart. I would love to put a picture on here to stop this happening to someone else. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Order Number: C26080198975348694. My experience with Lensmart has become a complete joke. I ordered prescription glasses in August, and the lenses were made incorrectly because Lensmart used a default PD instead of requesting my actual pupillary distance. They never asked for a photo or any verification before manufacturing, which is exactly why the glasses arrived unusable. Since then, I have repeatedly asked for a proper remake using the correct PD I provided. They refused. I asked them to cover the postage from the UK to China since the mistake was theirs or at least as they are experts to have flagged the missing data, they refused. Their “solution” was to send loose lenses without the frame, which is completely impractical and not what I paid for. I should not have to install lenses myself when the product was supposed to arrive ready to use. We have now exchanged over 40 emails, and every reply introduces a new obstacle or an obscure request. They even asked for a photo of me wearing the faulty glasses before they would consider doing anything — despite the fact the issue is the PD they failed to confirm in the first place. Given how cheaply these frames and lenses are mass‑produced in China, it is astonishing that they refuse to simply remake the glasses properly and send them in the frame I originally ordered. That is the bare minimum any competent company would do. After months of delays, contradictions, and pointless emails, I still have no resolution, no glasses nor even just the lenses. Their ability to handle customers or provide even a half‑decent service is genuinely questionable. I would not recommend Lensmart to anyone.

The delivery was exceptionally long and complicated. They said they were in route for weeks! Once arrived, they are cheap and the prescription is wrong. They are making it extremely difficult to return my glasses as well.. proceed with caution.

I am posting this as an urgent complaint regarding order number C26020351985410395. The glasses I ordered broke under normal use, and the replacement frame they provided snapped in the exact same spot after just 3 months. This is an undeniable material defect! When I contacted their email support, they completely refused to honor their 365-day warranty, claiming they only allow a "one-time replacement" even if the replacement itself is faulty! They even told me to purchase a new pair at my own expense. This is unacceptable and breaches basic consumer rights. I demand a full refund for this defective order immediately. Do not buy from Lensmart if you expect durable products or fair customer support!

Personnellement, pour avoir acheté 2 paires de lunettes avec prescription je suis très déçue puisque les 2 ont une différence de -0.25 dans chaques oeils. J’avais vraiment besoin de celles ci pour cette semaine et malheureusement je tombe étourdie lorsque je les portent.. J’ai écrit à la compagnie et j’espère pouvoir me faire rembourser ou au moins avoir un dédomagement..!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Lensmart – Unacceptable Customer Service My experience with Lensmart has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The glasses I purchased did not fit properly, and I have been trying for over a month to resolve the issue through a return or replacement. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, Lensmart has failed to provide a satisfactory solution. To make matters worse, they have now stopped responding to my emails entirely. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I have been patient, made repeated efforts to resolve this matter, and given the company more than enough time to address the problem. Yet, after more than a month, I am still left without a resolution and without any meaningful communication from the company. I expect a company to stand behind the products it sells and take responsibility when something goes wrong. Ignoring customers who are simply trying to resolve a legitimate issue is unprofessional and demonstrates a serious lack of accountability. I am extremely dissatisfied with how Lensmart has handled this situation. I should not have to spend weeks chasing a company just to obtain a return, refund, or replacement. At this point, the lack of response is just as disappointing as the original product issue. I would strongly caution potential customers to think carefully before purchasing from Lensmart. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong with your order, getting the company to take responsibility and resolve the issue may be a serious challenge. Lensmart needs to address this matter and provide a clear, timely resolution. Customers deserve better than being ignored after they have paid for a product.

If I would have know the amount of time, lack of transparency on the amount of time and lack of delivery tracking, I would have NEVER ordered from this company. I ordered 2 pairs from another company, the same day, and had those delivered within 5 days from my order. Here it is, almost a month, and no order, no delivery, no tracking...and customer service reply, they are being processed. Terrible, Terrible business practices.

This company is untrustworthy, has no clear website, no phone or chat window to contact them only through email or face book , even with email or facebook they don’t reply to you instantly , they reply to you after 1-3 days each time , they cheat your money by deducting 10% of what you paid even if you cancel after 1-2 days of your order date , their excuses are they already done the customization while they clearly say that the order takes 3 weeks to arrive, their customer service is Zero , incompetent You have to be very very careful if you would like to make risky deals Furthermore, if you cancel they don’t return your full money back but they keep email you back and forth many times asking you ( do you want to cancel your order or not ) , since 0ct 05 till up to date I did not get any refund I don’t think they are legitimate business
