I ordered sunglasses that was supposed to be advanced prescription. They were terrible DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LENSMART. PLEASE BE CAREFUL..PROBABLY BETTER OFf GOING TO YOUR LOCAL OPTICIAN. IF anyone wants pictures of my terrible glasses I am more than happy ...although I might do another review of them to show Get ready for my 18 emails of correspondence and the awful customers service...again will share soon.

We apologize, but we made the lenses according to the specifications you ordered. Due to the strength of your prescription, even when made to the highest specifications, the lenses still have a certain thickness. During our communication, you fully agreed to our policy, and we have already processed your return. Even when you contacted us later that you couldn't return the item within the stipulated time, we applied for special processing to extend your return period. Our policy clearly states the return shipping costs. You feel the return shipping costs are too high and don't want to return the item, so you want a refund without returning it. We apologize, but this does not comply with our policy. Refunds can only be processed after we receive the returned item. You don't accept this and start complaining about our poor service. We made the lenses according to your purchased specifications, and all our communication processes followed our policy, which is clearly stated on our website. What are you dissatisfied with? If you want a refund, you need to return the item. We will process the refund as soon as we receive it. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I ordered 6 prescription glasses from Lensmart and unfortunately had a very bad experience. The glasses I received were defective. The pupillary distance was manufactured incorrectly, making the glasses unusable. I entered my total PD correctly during the order process, so this was clearly a production error. I contacted customer service multiple times. Instead of taking responsibility, they repeatedly asked for my prescription, which does not explain a one-sided PD error. They also hid behind their “special offer” policy and refused refund or replacement, even though the product was defective. The only solutions offered were a small discount coupon or a paid remake at my own expense. That is not acceptable for a manufacturing error. Very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend buying prescription glasses here. Update 05.02.2026 After posting my negative review, the company contacted me repeatedly via email and social media. Instead of offering a refund or a clear solution, they kept asking for unrealistic proof such as videos from a doctor or measuring machines. I feel pressured to justify the defect again and again, although I already explained the issue multiple times. This is not normal customer service for a defective product. Because of this ongoing experience, I stand by my review. Customers should be aware that resolving problems here can be very difficult.

We made them according to the prescription data in the order. However, many factors can affect the wearing effect of glasses. If you need to adjust your lenses, we are willing to find out the cause of your blurred vision and provide you with a solution. If you believe there is a manufacturing error, could you please provide us with a testing video for confirmation? Once a problem is confirmed, we will definitely provide you with a solution. Since you believe we made a manufacturing error, we request that you provide a video of the testing process so we can verify it. If you cannot provide such a video, we can only process a refund according to our policy.
