Company will not meet their advertised timeline. Avoid.
On the Lens Direct Q&Q page: I just placed a lens replacement order. How long will it take to get my new lenses? The entire process generally takes 12 to 14 business days from the date we receive your frames. Due to COVID-19, there are minor delays when utilizing USPS. *For a faster turnaround time, we recommend printing the pre-paid shipping label instead of getting the box delivered, that should cut down around 1 to 3 days on the overall process. I placed an order on August 30 using their pre-printed shipping label. My glasses are a standard progressive lens. USPS showed the company received them on September 5th. I received an email from them stating they had received them September 12. I immediately emailed them back about the discrepancy and was given an apology that they had an influx of orders. I was told it would take 12 -14 days to make them and then the glasses would go to quality assurance prior to shipping. Even in their response the company would not meet the advertised time frame even from the time they finally got around to opening the box. On Oct 6, the website still shows they are making the glasses. This means another week for quality control and shipping. So, in total the minimum time frame is 7 to 8 weeks versus what is advertised. And, could go longer as I have no idea from their website on the expected completion time. So, I just want my glasses back so I can get them made locally.
