I would not recommend LensDirect if you need your glasses back within a reasonable timeframe. I ordered replacement lenses for my sunglasses more than three weeks before an international trip. That should be plenty of time, or so I thought. For comparison, a local store provided new lenses in under a week, even with shipping. When I contacted LensDirect to check on my order, I was told it would not arrive in time. I even asked about paying an expedited fee, but was told that it would not make a difference. If you need a turnaround faster than a month, look elsewhere.

It was so refreshing to quickly be directed to a human interaction. Sharissa quickly understood my question, could see the source of the problem I was having with my account, and very quickly resolved it. This was probably my most pleasant and efficient customer service experience in recent months.
