Ordered glasses from the over 2 weeks ago. They promised shipment in 6 business days. It's been over 12 business days now and their site is still promising shipment in 6 business days. The worst thing is that their customer service cannot give you update on your order. They would promise to find out what was going on and contact you with an update, but never would. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM LENSABL AGAIN. UPDATE: Lensabl responded to the above review and said they anticipated my glasses would be completed on May 23 bar any unforeseen circumstances. I paid for overnight delivery, so if completed on May 23, I should at least have received it now. Today is May 29, I still haven't received the glasses yet. The original order was placed over 3 weeks ago. Again, never again will I do business with these people; new customers be warned!!

We sincerely apologize for the delay with your order. Each pair of lenses in our lab undergoes rigorous quality inspections to ensure they meet our high standards. Unfortunately, during our final inspection, we identified a need to take the lenses back a few steps to be corrected. Please be assured, our dedicated team is diligently working to refine your order. As soon as your glasses are completed and scanned for shipment by the mail carrier, we'll promptly notify you with tracking details via email. Regarding your concern about updates, we have sent you updates via email with Ticket references #593555 and #597729. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to provide you with a high-quality lenses. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Horrible customer service. One lie after another when your order is a month late. They game the system pretty well, with tools in place to make it look like they care about the customer, but it's all a charade. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your purchase.

Absolutely awful. It’s been weeks and the best they can tell me is “it’s in production.” Terrible customer service.

1/26/2024 Order#100192551. I have cancelled my lens order and have received a refund. However, they lost my frames, and told me they would order them and they said they did on 3/12/24. My inquiry by email(s) only (no contact information. location address, and a feckless 1-800 number) have not produced any specific information regarding my the return of my frames. I would like my frames returned ASAP!! Although I have used this company more than once in the past, this is the last time. Caveat emptor: if a company website doesn't have specific and helpful contact information, an "about us" page, nor a physical address listed anywhere on their website, go elsewhere. Upate- Worse: On March 11, Lensabal asked me to provide the link to where I purchased my frames so they could replace the frames they lost. Shavelle, from Lensabl, informed me, via email on March 12, that she reordered my frames from FramesDirect. Since then, inquries as to. " Where are my replacement frames?," were met with vague and apologetic replies, (e.g., Shavelle 3/26 I wanted to reach out and let you know that we are still working diligently to get an update on your order. I understand how important this is for you, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please rest assured that as soon as we have more information, I will get back to you immediately.) On April 2, I informed Lensabl that when I originally ordered them from FramesDirect, they took ten days and I received them. They emailed me with a tracking number on the third day. More useless replies from Shavelle at Lensabl followed. So, I decided to contact FramesDirect to help and received a response that I then emailed to Shavelle on April 17th to explain they didn't have a current order for my frames, (Hello Shavelle, I contacted FramesDirect regarding any orders from you or for the Saville Row frames and this is their reply: Response to your inquiry : We do not typically sell to other labs. They may have ordered it from the manufacturer. I searched by the same frame you ordered and could not find a current order. We would need to know the name that was on the card they used to pay for the item to search to see if they have an order from us. Please feel free to call us at 1-800-248-9427 if we can be of further assistance or if you need additional information. Customer Service Hours of Operation (CST/CDT) Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm | Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm | Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Kind Regards, Angelica S). Rather than reply directly to this glaring inconsistancy, On April 24, Shavelle sent the usual cookie-cutter vague reply, which was insulting.

Would highly recommend to avoid them! It took well over a month to get my glasses back, not 4-7 days as they say. I would send them a note asking about status after hearing nothing. They would respond it should be done in 1-2 days and they would e-mail when sent. A week later, nothing so e-mailed them and they send nasty e-mail that I need to wait until they respond, after it has been a week later than they said they would respond. Then use excuse that it didn’t pass their high standards and are remaking them. They did this twice after week 2 and week 4. Finally after week 5 I was given notice they were sending them. Their pupil distance app didn’t work either. I would have been better off just paying a regular store the 30% I saved then use Lensabl. Never again!

I shop almost exclusively online and, to be fair, most are excellent, delivering what they promise when they promise it. Lensabl doesn't seem to be in the eyewear/lens business. It's a nice idea but... When you send in your frames they will go to a place called Duffens Optical, a warehouse in Denver CO, and owned by Essilor Labs of America. The principals and investors in Lensabl are scattered about the country. Easy to find but I'm not going to DOX them. There's nothing wrong with this but if you're expecting prompt attention to your custom, well, I wouldn't. The problems, many of which are already noted by other customers, including ignoring the prescription's specs of segment height (bifocal location). Turnaround times? Four to Seven working days? Hmmmm...it was seven working days before they even began working on mine. Finally they showed up three weeks after placing the order on 01FEB24 but immediately evident they were useless. Here's where it starts to really fall apart. Delays built while Lensable communicated with Duffens to see if I was telling the truth. Pretty obvious just looking at the lenses, they were that far off. So much for the meticulous quality assurance. Promised to remake the lenses and send them so I could do the labour and change the lenses myself. Gave a turnaround of 4-7 days. Yep, you got it, not even started yet or, as they say, "still in production." Anyone who has had lenses made same day knows production doesn't mean two weeks. Sigh. So, we come to my warning. Lensabl isn't going to let go of your money -- your fault, their fault, nobody's fault -- they will flaunt Federal Trade Commission regulations about online orders. I've had to turn it over to American Express. I haven't done a good Homer in a long time but this qualifies. An optician in the next town over can make the lenses same day and for a little more than half what Lensabl charged me. "Doh!" UPDATE: Lensabl had been informed that I was leaving the country on a particular date for a long time and kept extending the completion date beyond my departure date. I finally opened a dispute with AMEX and suddenly Lensabl was able to produce and ship within a couple of hours. Sadly, skimped on shipping and they were delivered to my agent after I left. Who knows if they finally got it right. I did communicate with CS, proposing a solution, but silence from them then and since. AMEX closed the dispute in my favour and returned the money to my account.

The whole process took 5 weeks, which is a long time. When I received the lenses, they looked distorted when I put them on. The lenses that they put in also didn't seat correctly in the frame that I provided. It moved around in the frame. In the end, I spent more than $130 on new lenses that I could not use. I will be going to Costco to have my lenses replaced from now on.
