My wife and I ordered several times over the past couple of years and the glasses were ok. My wife recently ordered and the frames we got were too big. Lensabl has an online frame virtual way to try on frames but we couldn't make it work. We got the glasses and they won't stay up on her nose. They now want us to trade frames for a restocking fee and buy new lenses for the new glasses. They even suggested we take them to a local eyecare dealer to see if they could fix them. Lensabl is a joke and has no place to be selling glasses online.

The BIGGEST mistake I ever made with online lens company. Disorganized, customer service - ill informed and incompetent. USE any one OTHER than this imposter of a lens company!!

So sorry to hear this! Can you provide us with more details about your order so that a CS manager can look into this further?

Lenses failed inspection three times, poor communication, lack of transparency with consumers.
Poor communication and, though they claim"transparency," customers do have to chase after them for an answer to questions.
In my case, like many other customers, unacceptably slow shipping and production time. It took nearly 6 weeks from order to delivery to get my order for progressive lens replacement.
I had ordered from them previously without a problem so had the confidence to order again. Big mistake, which I do not plan on repeating.
Issues, in order of importance:
1. My lenses failed inspection THREE separate times. I understand ensuring quality with a delivered product, but I have never had this happen with a lab order through an optical store. Three fails is a red flag in my book. .This is not really about the slow production time. Lenses shouldn't fail inspection three separate times. Wish I could upload the document I received from their support team that shows the three fails.
2. Yes, production time was an issue. I wanted new glasses for a series of job interviews and for a vacation. Needless to say, I did not have them. I work in a field that does rely upon image and in the end the savings were not worth it--I needed the glasses for a reason and they did not deliver within a reasonable amount of time. DO NOT ORDER from them if you expect reasonable production cycles or need your glasses or lenses for a specific reason, as I did.
3. Their promise of "transparency" is kind of a scam. Why tell me that my lenses had failed inspection and not tell me....for the 2nd time? Or the 3rd time? At that point I would have wanted to cancel, and with good reason! No one from customer service (and note that you cannot message them on Twitter and they will not reliably respond to messages left on their support Vmail) notified me that there were multiple failures!
They really need to make exceptions to their refund policies if, for instance, there are more than two inspection failures. That, IMO, is not acceptable for any consumer product.
I get that orders for replacement lenses are, by nature, custom and not refundable but, as I say, there should be an opportunity for the buyer to back out with a reasonable refund if lenses failed inspection three or more times! Not acceptable.
Change your policy and you won't get as many complaints, Lensabl!

Received a pair of useless glasses
Received a pair of useless glasses! So called customer service said "too bad"
Offered me a 25% discount on another set of lenses. What a joke! They offer 25% off to attract new customers all the time.
Don't take the chance on this online experiment and get burned like me.
Never do business with this scam lens site!

Do not use this company!
I chose to have my lenses done online because it was cheaper compared to having them done at a local optometrist. Worst decision I have ever made!!
Expect your order anywhere between three to four weeks, The chances your glasses are being made elsewhere are very high. Go to your local Pearle vision and they can have them to you within a day.
My sunglasses arrived with imperfections in the lenses. It’s funny because when you check on the status of your glasses, the response is always that they are In the quality check department. They did fix the issue but again had to wait three weeks so all in all, the one pair of glasses took almost 2 months to receive.
Now this is very useful information given to me by my optometrist after I had both of my glasses done by this company. It is almost impossible to get the measurements done correctly online and not in person. Case in point, when I wore my glasses not only did I get an instant headache but had dizziness as well. After returning to my optometrist with the issue I was informed the measurements were off 7 mm.
And of course Lensabl won’t refund my money. That’s another story.
Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money, get them done by your local optometrist. I had to pay to get both lenses fixed by Pearle vision, after I already paid Lensabl.
One thing I discovered after I had used them, is check out the company on the Better Business Bureau‘s website.
As my optometrist stated, Don’t be surprised if there is a class action lawsuit.

"Lens Protection Plan" is completely useless
I purchased a pair of $200 lenses less than a year ago, and i made sure to pay extra for a 12 month extended warranty just in case the lenses got scratched or damaged. Recently the lenses did end up getting scratched, but the company has refused to replace them as the warranty only covers "scratches made during normal use" and does *not* cover damage caused by impacts, abrasions, or improper care (i.e. the only things that could possibly cause damage to lenses). Basically, unless the scratches magically appeared out of nowhere for no discernible reason whatsoever, the extended warranty will not cover the damage. Had i known that the warranty specifically excluded every possible cause of lens damage, i obviously would not have purchased it to begin with and would have likely bought the lenses from a different company altogether.
UPDATE: I ended up paying out of pocket to have the damaged lens replaced, and the new lens they sent me is smaller than the old one and doesn't fit snugly in the frame. I believe that the test frames they are using must be a smaller size than the ones i own, but when i offered to send in my frames so they could confirm for themselves, their response was that the lens has been made correctly and that i must not be installing it correctly. They then "offered" to install the lens "correctly" for me, for an additional fee of course. It also takes them at least a week to respond to emails, and as such this back-and-forth has been going on for a month. I am completely done with this company and will be taking my business elsewhere.

5 weeks later and NO glasses
5 weeks later and NO glasses, no communication. After 4 weeks I asked them to cancel the order, but they told me they'd only refund the $60 for frames, not the $160 for lenses because they were "already in the lab". Well I have no idea how many months these are going to sit in the lab, but I no longer have any use for these glasses. I'm reporting them to credit card as fraud.
