Did not receive the product even after 20 weeks. Canceled it and they promised refund in 4 weeks. Since then they stopped any communication. I am going to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau and take them to court.

8 MONTHS AND NO SOFA!
Wish I NEVER ordered but I'm stuck. In May 2024 I ordered a Natuzzi Leather custom sofa. It is now Jan 10, 2025. Not here. I paid for it in full. More than 8 months later I STILL have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered. I MEAN NO IDEA. None. Like the others who wrote here, since November I have been told "at the port". It is January 2025 and I STILL have no delivery date. Just excuses. Promised calls back. System is wrong. Wait a week. Another week. Wait another month. It''s coming. Hold on. NOTHING CONCRETE EVER. Repeated emails and calls all end up the same way- nothing. This company never calls back. When I do reach the customer service manager for like the VP or higher up to help I am told "there is no one else but me". "I am the top of the food chain". WOW!!! Worse, they mentioned it was coming from CHINA!!! Their website for this Natuzzi sofa I ordered says "Country of Origin- Italy". WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I really cannot believe the experience I am having. I expected by halloween at the latest- I missed Thanksgiving Xmas New Years and soon it will be Easter. They misrepresent themselves at all levels. Don't fall for their 36 hours 25% off sale either. In hour 37 a new 36 hour sale or whatever pops up. I expected Made in Italy. I did not expect a China product. I expected my product in 18 weeks. It has been 36 weeks and still no idea where it is. I expected professional service and I have received nothing but broken promises to this day. I am probably going to have to hire a lawyer now because as hard as I have tried to communicate with this online store for more than 8 months now my efforts go unheeded. Please don't put yourself in a situation like mine simply STOP looking here and order elsewhere, that is why I am writing this review to warn others. Further, this company does not allow reviews on their site? I wonder why!!! There are too MANY other companies out there!!!!! Avoid this "leather expo" company tt all costs...because with their minimum 50% down requirement you too will be "stuck" with them as it is too much to walk away from. Good luck, it's truly a casino when you order here... place your bet?

Hi James, We really apologize for how late your order is. It looks like something happened and it was remade and is shipping & due into us on 2/18. We are very sorry for how long it is taking and will work on getting it to you as quickly as possible and getting you a discount for the headaches. Again we cannot say sorry enough and we will do everything we can to get you your furniture as quickly as we can.

I am absolutely shocked
I am absolutely shocked. By the way, someone answered the phone just now. I've been asking him to get me a lousy little swatch so that I could buy a $10,000 couch. He tells me to do it on the website and I told him I tried that three times and it didn't go through enough to get a confirmation email . from you. Instead of taking my name and address and the name of the swatch, he decided to go through step by step as though I'm a moron as to what I need to do on the website. I tried to tell him about five times that I already did that and I needed more help and he told me too bad you can't have it. Have a nice day and he hung up. I don't think you need people like that working for you because you lost a $10,000 order. If that's how you treat customers before you order, how do you do later? That's would be even more disgusting I'd imagine.
I'm going to submit a review with this exact statement.
I posted this review about an hour and a half after my experience calling.
I got your message but I can't help you with the name. If he picked up the phone and said his name at probably was thinking about my question. I wish I did take his name. You might want to check your phone system if you have a recording available because you definitely don't want this person working for you. I did get your email that you do take orders over the phone. I don't understand why he's stuck by this and repeated it over and over in such a rude fashion.

Hi Meryl, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations when you called in for help. Can you please provide the person you spoke to so we can look into this further? You are always able to call in to get a swatch if you are having trouble requesting one online. If you would like to give us a call Monday and ask for Sam we would be more than happy to help you with a swatch and any questions you have on the furniture itself.

Terrible look elsewhere I ordered 2 leather sofas that took 6…
I ordered 2 leather sofas that took 6 months to get here. Ridiculously long but they sent weekly updates. When I did finally receive them both Natuzzi btw, in 6 months time the leather is loose wrinkled and you sink to the frame when seated. I called and emailed and finally an expert will come to you that took 2 months. When the so called expert arrived at our home after a 6 hour wait, he advised the sofas were prematurely aging and nothing could be done to repair. All along I kept in contact with LFE and they were the victim because at least I was able to get the technician they hired to repond to me. Well it's not over. I was told 2-5 days I kept calling, then I was told according to Natuzzi it's a maintenance issue. So again back to LFE Tammy apologized after I wrote a letter to the owner and promised to take care of it 1 week later still no follow up. Every time I call she is out of the office. They sold me junk sofas and want to pretend it's Natuzzi's fault meanwhile Im out 7k and have junk to sit on. How about take care of the customer give me a refund or offer me a replacement. Act like you care? How do you sleep at night taking people's hard earned money?

Avoid at all costs!!!!!
Absolutely terrible experience and getting worse by the day. We were originally told to expect delivery of the Maxwell sofa we ordered in 14 weeks. Several weeks after that date we inquired about deliver and were told to expect it in 2 weeks. Sam, the sales rep we were working with told "just two more weeks" at least a half dozen times over the next 6 months until we finally received our sofa after 8 months. "Just two weeks" became a running joke around our house. During that time Sam ignored nearly all of our emails & voice mails inquiring about the status and would never follow up with updates at the times he told us he would.
On the last call that I had with Sam prior to delivery he let me know that the Italian leather sofa that was to be made in the USA was actually made in Mexico due to trouble sourcing materials.
Upon receipt of the sofa we wished we had never ordered it. The dye was orange not the Brompton Chestnut color on the website, we questioned the qualify of the leather as compared to the sample we'd received and the sofa seats and back pillows were so underfilled the noticeably sagged.
When we contact Sam to let him know of these issues we continued to have out voice mails and emails ignored and on the rare occasions we could speak with Sam he would never follow up on the things he told us he would. Because of this I let Sam know that I would like to return the sofa to which he informed me that the cost would be $700 for return shipping minus up to 40% of the cost of the sofa for any wear and tear that they determine for the time I had the sofa.
As it stands I am still waiting for a follow up from Sam that is a week over due on on top of ignoring my past two emails regarding how to remedy the issues with the sofa.

Mr. Huegel, We are sorry for the issues you are having. Our customer service manager will call you tomorrow to address your concerns and handle any problems you are having. If you are not happy with the furniture we will be happy to take it back. The Maxwell sofa is made with the highest quality materials. The leather you received as a sample is the same leather that the sofa was made in. The Brompton Chestnut leather come directly from Moore and Giles which is one of the best leather suppliers in the world. The premium down seats do compress over time that is just the nature of down seats. Again we are sorry for any issues and will do our best to make sure you are happy. Please expect a call tomorrow.

Once again they didn’t keep their promise
I have reviewed this company earlier and they followed up immediately after my review was posted. Promising once again the repairs would be done. That review was over a month ago (after 6 months of pestering them and Natuzzi to repair 2 sofas less than 12 months old). I waited at home all morning to find out that EVEN though I received multiple reminders of my scheduled appointment, No one showed up. I took the day off work (medical professional so NOT an easy task during COVID) to wait for help that isn’t coming. This experience has been a disaster. I am grateful this is not my normal experience with other companies! NEVER AGAIN will I buy from furniture leather expo.

Hi Elizabeth, We are sorry for the issues you are having with your furniture. We did have Natuzzi expedite the parts to you and they should be at your home. We are looking into why the Technician cancelled the appointment with you. These are outside contractors and do not work directly for us. We are working with his supervisor to see how quickly he can get out your home to replace the part on your sofa. Our customer service manager will contact you tomorrow with an update. Again we are very sorry we know this can be very frustrating and will do everything we can to get you taken care of as quickly as possible. FOLLOW UP ** Hi Elizabeth can you confirm with us that the tech came out Saturday and fixed your furniture. We have spoken to the tech and he told us everything has been taken care of.**

Poor customer service, grossly delayed
I ordered a sofa the last week of January. Its the end of April now and I still have not received it. I called AGAIN today to check on where it could possibly be and was told that it will be at least a FEW MORE WEEKS. So now instead of waiting for 3 months, it will be 3 1/2 - 4 months. HOW?!?!? I could have made the sofa myself in 4 months. The only adjustment that has been offered is a $250 refund..... for a $2500 sofa that I have been waiting on for over THREE MONTHS. Such a huge inconvenience & irresponsible of the company to sell something they obviously have no business making. Waste of my time and money.

We are very sorry that your sofa was delayed. We always strive to get orders done in the time that we state online but sometimes there are circumstances that can delay an order. In your case when the sofa went through our final check it was determined that some of the leather was a different dye lot and did not match up. Instead of sending you a sofa that had different shades of leather, we reordered the leather to make your sofa so that it would be correct. Unfortunately this did add about 3 weeks to your order and we are very sorry. We did offer you a $250 discount on top of the $441.90 discount you already received. After you decided against waiting you were given a full refund that day. Again we are very sorry for the delay with your order but we always want to send out the best product we can make.

Broken Process and Empty Lip Service
I now understand why the furniture is discounted. I've ordered high-end pieces from a specific, popular retailer and they arrived within weeks without damage. I thought I'd save some money by trying something new. Ordering from Leather Furniture Expo (LFE) was easy, they took my money quickly, and then the process fell apart. I paid in full in August. I watched the tracker until it stalled at 8 weeks. Then it took a week to get answers. Apparently the shipment of leather was "bad." So my family spent Thanksgiving with 40 guests and no sofas. LFE was apologetic and offered a small refund on the price. By Christmas, I still had no furniture and no refund. After calling all third parties involved (warehouse, shipping, and LFE), I found out my sofas were stuck in the inspection process and wouldn't be delivered until after the holidays. This was unacceptable. I am an expecting mother trying to host even more family for Christmas, again without furniture. Only after threatening to pull my entire order and demand a full refund, did I see any action. The person from Sales then proceeded to flippantly talk down to me "explaining" to me the operations process and delivery of my furniture as if I could never understand such a "complex" business. He concluded by telling me the company would have to spend too much money to move around the shipments and get my furniture to me sooner. So in other words, his money was more important than mine. What has happened to customer service? It's a shame when a company's bottom line is more important that the $8,000 spent by a customer (in full) months before. As a small business owner myself, I think this practice and treatment is an embarrassment and I told him so. After this conversation, all parties were suddenly able to deliver my furniture 2 days before Christmas. They made it happen, as they should, and I consider this simply doing the right thing, NOT going above and beyond, as the company tried to tell me they'd done. The delivery company was wonderful, but the couches and chair have a very strange, cheap, chemical smell to them and they are very stiff. If I hadn't gone without furniture for four months, I'd send it back and order from a trusted retail store. The extra money would've been worth it and I should've done it in the first place. Now I feel stuck with hard, stinky furniture because I just can't go without it for any longer.
Spend the extra money and buy from a brand you already trust. This was the worst customer experience of my life. When spending this kind of money, you should expect better quality products and definitely better service.
