I can not say enough about LaunchBoom and its team of experts! They gave us guidance from the start, all the way into post-campaign. We never would have been able to accomplish this on our own. Getting your campaign onto Kickstarter takes a major commitment, but LaunchBoom is the perfect partner to help make it happen. Thanks!

Truly Exceptional Level of Professionalism
The level of professionalism at LaunchBoom is truly exceptional. Extremely helpful and attentive. Always receive answers on the same day. Client support is as good as I have ever worked with in my long, older-than-dirt business life. Makes a HUGE difference.

Hey Ridge,
Thanks for the review! We love the strategy you're taking with Alpha Clash: build a franchise through Kickstarter.
So far 2 campaigns have launched in the past 6 months.
1. Alpha Clash graphic novel (http://kck.st/3aQprSI) raising $59,150.
2. Alpha Clash Trading Card Game (http://kck.st/3hZjWVj) raising $422,809.
Looking forward to our next launch together in 2023!

Best investment I ever made
Launchboom showed me how to successfully raise capital for my Indiegogo campaign. Their hands-on program is flawless. This was probably the best investment I ever did. There is a secret recipe for crowdfunding and these guys show you how it's done.

Not Performance Based?? Steer Clear
Despite all conversations regarding goals in advance of our Wefunder and Indiegogo campaigns, which underperformed to less than 10% of expectations laid out in advance with Launchbooom, they claim that their services are not performance based and trying to charge us an obscene amount relative to the funds raised. Would not recommend them at all.
Response from LaunchBoomJan 16, 2023
Hey Dane,
First off...
- What you say in your review about the deal structure is not true
- We've been paid $0 for our services on Wefunder which raised $225K
- We have already decreased our commission by 50% and your partner Alicia agreed to this
- You have refused to have a conversation on a call
- Instead, you put a fractional CFO who knew nothing about the situation on a call to discuss with me
Now I'll further break down the whole situation for you and everyone reading this below. Like always, feel free to reach out to me so we can discuss on a call when you're ready.
We first signed an agreement with your business partner Alicia Long on 5/10/22 for the product launch of Nutr on Indiegogo.
You paid us our upfront service fee ($20K) for that campaign
We then signed a 2nd agreement (again with Alicia) on 6/16/2022 for an equity crowdfunding campaign on Wefunder.
We agreed to divert ALL the fees of our service ($20K) until after the campaign was over so that you could have more capital for marketing budget.
Your partner Alicia also agreed to us taking the equivalent of a 5% commission on funds raised on Wefunder.
The campaign raised about $225K and our ads started to not perform very well. We had a conversation with your team about us stopping spend and ending the contract at that point because we shouldn't be paid more if our ads aren't performing.
Alicia asked if we could take 5% commission on only $100K instead of the $200K because your team brought in a good amount of investment on your own.
We agreed to that and lowered the commission by half to $5,000.
Keep in mind we still haven't been paid by your team for anything regarding the WeFunder project.
Months go by and we check in to see about payment and Alicia tells us that you are waiting for disbursement from Wefunder.
After some more time we check in again and that's when you (Dane) started communicating with us.
Up until this moment we had worked with Alicia regarding the deal terms and you hadn't been part of any conversation.
When you started communicating with us you said "Our wefunder raise total was $225k, or 1/5 of what was laid out as a goal and associated fees. Thus as a starting point i think 1/5 of our total raise is a fair adjustment of the total bill prior to considering any payouts."
In the contract and in discussions with your business partner Alicia, there was never any specific performance goal of hitting over $1M raised on the campaign to get paid.
On Dec 7th, my business partner Will Ford tried to get on a call because clearly there was a misunderstanding but you refused.
You then left this review stating things that aren't true about the deal structure we made with your partner Alicia.
After that, your "CFO" Bryant Veazey agreed to get on a call with me.
When I got on the call, he let me know that he's actually:
1. a fractional CFO
2. he's only been working with you for a few months
3. he doesn't know anything about the situation
I was very surprised that you decided to handle this situation this way. I would have expected at least a call to discuss the situation instead of putting a contracted person on the call that knows nothing about the situation.
As of writing this, we still haven't been paid anything for the Wefunder campaign and you still haven't agreed to speak.
If anyone reading this wants more information regarding the situation, I'm always available to chat: [email protected]
Dane, I'll continue to wait for you to respond to an email and hope you (or Alicia) will make time for a call to discuss this professionally.
Best,
Mark Pecota | CEO

BEWARE!!!
Where to start? What a HUGE disappointment!!
Over a year of moving the goal posts, super bad marketing plan on Launchboom's part. Launchboom uses one platform for marketing, ‘Tom’s Finds’ on Facebook. Facebook is old news! We let them know Instagram and TikTok were our best platforms but it did not matter to them.
We ended up getting over 9,000 potential backers send us their email and contact info, yet less than 1% of those actually purchased. It was half way through our crowdfunding campaign (15 days after launch day) before we could even see our ‘Dashboard’ on Indiegogo or even add a profile photo and background information, to even seem legit.
Just weeks before crowdfunding launch day, Launchboom switches managers on us, tells us that our 1st manager doesn’t work there anymore, yet his LinkedIn still said he worked there many months later.
We saw little to no communication between Will Ford and the rest of the team at Launchboom. Will would get on a call with us and tell us how HUGE it was going to be, get excited, blah, blah, blah and the rest of the team were giving us low energy, dismal performance.
We ended up losing a lot of money and a lot of time running (Crawling) with Launchboom. And, we seriously have a really KICK-ASS product! In the end, we did everything and more for Launchboom, including a ton of videos, media, and even bringing our price down $100 MORE than what we were comfortable with and NONE of it made a difference!
Will’s last message to us, a week before launch day was "Gonna be HUGE! Get excited…" It was a BUST!! BEWARE!!

Hey Brian,
First off, I agree that your product is kickass. Our whole entire team thought so as well (and continues to).
I'm going to break down our experience of working with you. If you (or anyone reading this) wants more information, feel free to email me at [email protected]. I'm always available to chat.
We started working together on a TestBoom in January of 2021. The test went well. Here are the metrics we got:
Amount Spent: $3,000.00
CPM (cost per 1000 impressions): $14.17
CTR (link click-through rate): 3.42
Website Leads: 1,416
Cost per Lead: $2.12
Reservations: 45
Cost per Reservation: $66.67
We completed the TestBoom on 3/23/21.
The contract for the next phase was signed by you on 5/13/21.
We had a kickoff for the LaunchBoom program on 5/17/21.
You gave us a launch date of 8/31/21 contingent on you giving us assets we could use (since you didn't pay for that service).
Our entire team started working on the project in any way we could without assets. You then let us know that the product would be changing.
The project then went on hold because we didn't want to advertise the wrong product, we didn't know the new specs, and we didn't have assets.
We were able to start the pre-campaign on 1/21/22 once you updated the product and provided new assets. We had been ready to start since March of 2021.
Unfortunately, we were never able to get the metrics down to what we were seeing 12 months before. We saw large increases in CPMs and a 23% increase in cost / reservation. With iOS14 and post-covid CPMs, we had seen similar challenges with other clients.
There seems to be some confusion about how we advertise. We advertise through Meta (Facebook), which includes Instagram. We spent 44.6% of the ad budget on Instagram. The rest went to Facebook. Spend is distributed based on performance.
Your original campaign manager left the company 47 days before your campaign launched. This was unfortunate timing but we still had almost 2 months before the launch and we assigned our most senior campaign manager. Also, I can't control if someone changes their LinkedIn or not, but I can assure you they left LaunchBoom.
Your project launched on 4/12/22.
We had 7,615 leads and 452 $1 reservations.
The reservation list converted at 15.04% with 68 sales and drove $43,533 in revenue at a $669 average order value.
Total ad spend was $42,114.21
Total sales on the campaign was $72,481
I don't think the results were great but I do stand behind the work our team did throughout the process. They worked hard and dealt with delays outside of their control for nearly 10 months.
If you or anyone else wants to talk with me more about it, I'm always available. Send me an email at [email protected].
P.S.,everyone can see the campaign here: https://igg.me/at/vata7/x#/
P.P.S. the services that Brian talked about in this review have changed (and improved) since Brian first became a client 2 years ago.
