There's clearly something discrimination wise happening with their choices on who they work with. On top of that no reasoning besides we dont work with platforms was given. Yet you look at their customer base and half are platforms or apps that might as well be and the rest are games etc.
Find a different company to get help from if your a platform creator they will blind reject you without any real research.
I digress if your CSR would have asked clarification period that would have been a different story. But they didnt. Terminology and framing wasn't what you look for but the product is very similar to multiple projects youve hosted. Make it make sense.
Response from LaunchBoomMay 28, 2026
Hey Scott, appreciate the feedback but want to push back on the discrimination framing. We qualify every potential client on one thing: whether we believe we can provide enough value to make our service worth it for them. Track record in a category is one of the biggest signals we use to figure that out, and platforms aren't a category we've successfully launched. So rather than take your money and risk underdelivering, we told you up front.

Not recommended.
Update Dec 09:
I requested Trustpilot the option to verify my experience, and sent invoice and email communication.
Update Dec 08:
I can provide invoices, email communication, and much more to anyone who requires it, including Trustpilot. However, Launchboom has to initiate this requirement. The fact that they do not shows that they are hiding. They pretend that all their negative reviews, with some exceptions, are fake. But they are not. Many of their positive reviews are fake.
When working with Launchboom you have a +70% change you will fail with your campaign and lose your money.
Working with LaunchBoom looked promising at first, but the experience fell short once we got into the actual process. They talk a lot about systems and strategy, yet most of what they delivered felt generic and required a lot more work on my side than expected.
The guidance was surface level, the ads never really clicked, and the “support” felt more like being pointed to templates than getting real help.
They position themselves as experts who will elevate your launch, but unless you already have strong product market fit, a big budget, and plenty of time to fill in the gaps yourself, the results won’t match the expectations they set.
I walked away feeling like I paid for a framework, not a partner. I wouldn’t choose them again.
And a personal observation: every time someone posts something negative about them, suddenly a handful of glowing comments appear out of nowhere. I noticed it, and so did plenty of other customers. Their real success rate sits well under what they claim, even lower than the average Kickstarter success rate.

The reviewer said "I can provide invoices, email communication, and much more to anyone who requires it, including Trustpilot. However, Launchboom has to initiate this requirement." We already Requested the Information through Trustpilot and the reviewer didn't respond.
Here's proof: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TtVZP8b2Fw_GlpjWaQ01nXVUyJUnhs8Z/view?usp=drive_link
If you update your review with public proof, I have no problem updating my review. Right now there's no way to prove the legitimacy of the review unless you do that since you avoided the information request I sent through Trustpilot.
-- UPDATED DEC 5, 2025 --
Since we don't have any record of this reviewer as a client, I used Trustpilot's "request information" feature so the reviewer could easily share info with us about who they are. This reviewer didn't give any information or update their review so the public can verify that it's legit. Unless they provide evidence publicly, it's safe to assume it's another fake review.

Hey E. Ferel, I don't recognize you as a client! It's easy to clear it up though! You can edit your post with your project name so the public can verify or answer the Information Request I sent through Trustpilot. That way we can confirm who you are.
All of our reviews from clients are easily verifiable as they list the project they launched or I include it in my reply. That way the public can verify for themselves.
Also, you can always send me an email at [email protected] to clear it up.
Thanks!

Very expensive, fake reviews
Very expensive. Good sales team. Friendly. Until you sign up and need them. Their whole approach is nothing but a course you can buy online at a 5th of the price, and get for free if you put in the efforts.
Like many others stated, when you are in, you'll notice very quickly that while they lure you in with success stories, under 10-20% of the campaigns they work with, succeed. Most do not. Like us, you have a massive chance your campaign will fail and it's never their fault, but always the product or customer. Then, why work with us in the first place?

-- UPDATE 10/19/25 --
Hey Kim, you didn't respond to Trustpilot's Request Information feature and I didn't hear anything via email. If you just missed the deadline you can always update your review to provide public proof. Without that, it's impossible to verify the authenticity of your experience.

Very disrespectful
Was considering using their service and planned on setting a meeting next week as we don't work weekends. Over the weekend I received three emails, which is excessive, the last of which asking if I was even serious about my project. Very disrespectful. Will not be using this service.

Hey Richard, really good points and I appreciate the feedback. I’ll send you some resources via email that will hopefully still help with your launch.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience.
Very pushy. They will follow you for a year if needed, sending regular request to ask when you will sign up, and send 'success stories', often not even theirs.
When I then signed up, paid a hefty fee, I realized its nothing but an expensive course. Sure, there are some ok materials in there, but nothing you cannot get and read for free or invest your money and get actual help.
Ultimately, our campaign was a resounding failure. And before Lauchboom sas it's the fault of my project, I not only followed their course and suggestions to the T, we are now selling without issues on amazon.
When you look at the track record and compare it to the number of customers Launchboom serves, like many others brought up here and other platforms, their success rate is LOWER than any other agency. Most of their customers complain and fail with their projects, not only out on the money they paid for Launchboom, but also all the money that went into the ads. Horrible company. All self-marketing until you sign up. A guaranteed way to lose your money and fail on your project.

Hey Tom, it doesn't look like you completed my request through Trustpilot to show proof that you were a client and I didn't hear from you via email. Because I have no way of confirming who you are and there are a lot of things that are factually incorrect in your review, I'm assuming this isn't a real review. Feel free to reach out to me personally to clear it up if otherwise: [email protected]

Hey Tom! Since you didn't say which campaign you launched I'm not sure what project you're claiming to be from. But no worries! it's easy for you to confirm by replying to the "request information" email I sent through Trustpilot. Or feel free to email me directly at [email protected] with more info.

Very bad! Avoid Launchboom!
As many others reported, they sold me on one of the best services in the market—turns out, it’s a glorified course.
When you sign up, you get access to videos and course materials, and some kind of support by video (not live!).
They sign you up pretending you’re one of the selected few. Then you enter the forum and see you’re not.
They push you to invest a lot of ad spend, but by no means help you run the ads, create the landing page, or validate properly. Sure, they have a landing page builder, but it's still the customer who has to build it (me).
I paid a lot—a lot—of money, for just some videos!
Finally, our project failed horribly, and I am $20,000 in the red. TWENTY THOUSAND USD! I guess that some of their wealthy customers don’t care, but for me, this is on my credit card, and I’ll never get that money back.
If they had been honest about the chances of success—if they had been honest in their sales calls and told me that most of their customers utterly fail—I would not have taken the risk.
Is it their fault that my project wasn’t good enough? No. But the fact that they pretended to be the best ever seen, the fake reviews, the false claims, and the omission that most of their projects don’t reach their goal... made me, and hundreds of others, lose a lot of money.
Avoid LaunchBoom!

Hey Jim,
Since we don't have a client named Jim D. from Spain like your profile says, I used Trustpilot's Request Information tool so you can privately share with me which campaign you ran. You can also email me at [email protected] to clear it up!
A few other questions:
- Which program are you claiming to have bought of ours?
- Which reviews are you claiming are fake? You can easily verify all the reviews we have. The names & campaigns are listed unlike this review.

Be careful!
Update May 15: Dear Mark, you’re not confused. I submitted proof of purchase to Trustpilot, and they’ve reinstated my review. You’re free to question publically whether I’m a real customer—but the evidence says otherwise.
May 5, 2025: I shared evidence with Trustpilot to support my claim. LaunchBoom often tries to get negative reviews removed or issue refunds, but the damage is already done—and campaigns have failed. Be warned: the chances are high that your project will -fail too, just like most of theirs.
-------
We hired Launchboom in March 2025 this year, after a first intake call 3 years ago, follow-up by their team for this time with sales emails, and following their monthly “success stories newsletters”.
Exactly by being with them for such a time before pulling the trigger, I noticed a few things. In doubt, but still believing their service is the best out there, I signed up. Here is a rant of personal experience.
The not so bad, but you have to know:
1. They do not offer a full service but a glorified course. You pay a lot of money to access videos and other materials you can find out there for free. This is not made 100 % clear when you get in touch with their sales team.
2. You have to do all the work. This is not a service, but a course with guidance with online videos. You do not have a team doing the work. This is still your responsibility.
You pay a lot for a course.
3. They claim to be working only with selected projects, but it became quickly apparent that they take on everyone who pay them. A tactic I understand, but it’s not fully correct and fair.
The bad:
5. When you follow their success stories and very selected reviews, you would believe that everything they touch is a success. Like several other reviewers pointed out, it’s not.
About 60 % of the projects working with Launchboom fail. I can verify this number purely by checking how many other creators failed. Some even speak of 70 %. That’s a large number for an expensive course.
This only becomes apparent when working with them, and getting in touch with other customers following their course. Most of the Launchboom customers fail.
6. It’s not that it’s a bad course. But simply that a course can only do that much. As they sell to everyone they can and do not properly validate, you end up with a large ad spend and loss in both their course fee and ads you paid for.
But they don’t tell you this. They talk about their massive success stories. Most of them though, would have done it without their course as well. If you check them out, most have marketing teams and +$100,000 to 200,000 in ad spend!
- Launchboom suggested us that we needed at least $20,000 – $25,000 in ad spend. But this is not even the truth. Most of their projects spend much, much more, and barely make a profit.
Also this information only comes out when you signed up with them, pay a hefty fee, and get to know other creators.
What else, besides the 60 – 70 % failure rate?
7. They abuse the review system. I signed up with them as I found mostly good reviews. And this made me dreaming.
But after a while, you notice that Launchboom uses a tactic to bring in positive reviews from the few successful projects they run (mind you, successful does not mean profitable), by offering incentives and discounts to those who review. Again, I noticed this first-hand in our Launchboom group from the few creators who were successful.
8. When you look closer, most comments on negative reviews online, and it’s a growing group, have the same people commenting on how amazing Launchboom is. It's not only the incentive... a lot of their reviews also come in waves. Even for projects which are from a year ago.
Back to my project; we barely hit our goal. If I deduct the Launchboom cost for their course, the $28,000 in ad spend, hiring a copywriter $1,250, designer $3,000 and video team 7,499, and 5 % + fee for Kickstarter, I’m in a loss of $22,000.
They call my project a success. On which planet?
I hope this can serve as a warning. It’s not that they are scamming you outright. They are just very creative with the truth and smart to flood the internet with some of their course materials, articles and an incentive for reviews.
Because of this, most of the creators, between 60 – 70 %, fail their project by looking up at the large projects Launchboom presents and repeats as case studies over and over.
I’m available to share proof and posted my review on the Launchboom complaints forum as well. There are currently over 120 complaints and stories such as mine.
Be warned. When it looks to good to be true, it often is. In this case, it's especially an expensive lesson and for most of their customers, the end of a successful crowdfunding campaign.

-- updated reply 5/15/25 --
I'm a bit confused because you said "I’m available to share proof" but when I asked for proof using Trustpilot's Request Information tool, you ignored it. I also never received any email ([email protected]).
The reason why I question this review is because we don't have any client named Eric C. who signed up in March of 2025 and is from Liechtenstein like your profile says.
We aren't perfect and have a few other critical reviews that I'm completely fine with, but that's because they verified who they were.
I don't think it's too much to expect a reviewer to provide basic proof, especially when they are making big claims.
-- updated reply 5/2/25 --
Hey Eric,
We used the "request information" feature in Trustpilot which gave you 3 days to provide proof. We didn't receive any documents from you. If that was by mistake you can still email me at [email protected]. Until then, it's impossible to know if this was a genuine experience.
-- original reply 4/29/25 --
Hey Eric,
If you're up for it, I'd love to chat on a call. Here's my email [email protected]
Secondly, I talked to my team and looked through our CRM and we're not sure which project you are a part of based on the info in this review.
You said you can provide proof so I requested information through Trustpilot. Once you send me that, I can update my response so everyone knows the review is legitimate.
Lastly, I want to clear up a few misunderstandings:
1. We don't take on anyone that will pay us.
Hundreds of people reach out every month and we only work with ~10% of them. We even have negative reviews from people that weren't happy when we told them we didn't think we'd be the best partner. Getting negative reviews for not taking someone on is a pretty clear indicator that we are willing to say "no" to people that want to give us money.
2. There isn't a 60% failure rate of campaigns who have worked with us.
If we're looking purely at campaigns who hit their goal, the success rate of our campaigns is ~98% in 2024. Now I understand that hitting your Kickstarter goal doesn't necessarily mean the campaign was a "success." We have worked with campaigns that hit their external goal but didn't reach their internal goal. Some would consider that a failure, while others not. So when you say "60% fail" it's important for you to define what "failure" is because your definition may be different than others.
3. We do not offer incentives or discounts to people to review us.
I encourage everyone to read the other reviews we have here. The name of the project is always included so anyone can reach out to the creator and verify. Please reach out and ask if they received any incentive to do so. Or if you want to reach out to me personally ([email protected]), we can jump on a call and I can answer any question you have.
4. Most successful clients do NOT have $100-$200K ad budgets and marketing teams.
Most are small teams (1-3 ppl) and are spending much less than $100K. It's only the campaigns that are raising in the upper 6-figures and 7-figures that will likely go over $100K for ad spend, but only if their ROAS is strong.
Again, because you're willing to share proof, it'd be great for you to provide that via Trustpilot. Also, reach out to me at [email protected] and we can chat on a call.
Best,
Mark | CEO
