A mentor of mine recommended LaunchBoom and I attended the Crowdfunded Summit a few weeks before I joined LaunchBoom Accelerator. I realized launching something on Kickstarter is more complicated than I originally thought and requires expertise and planning your campaign wisely to be successful. LaunchBoom has learning modules, useful templates, and office hours where I’m talking to incredibly intelligent people and get to witness other businesses at other stages go through the same process. I learned so much from their questions, avoided making other mistakes, and found so much value in observing those questions. The fact that LaunchBoom makes everything so digestible and so simple is fantastic. The reliable accessibility of the team for support is such a comfort. The team is always easy to get in touch with and ask questions and each one of the coaches has different expertise. Launchboom's value far exceeds the price of admission!

When I joined Scaleboom I was in this middle space between a successful Kickstarter campaign and figuring out how to scale my business. I needed more guidance on what was preventing my business from growing and figuring out how to scale it - and Scaleboom does exactly that. I started the program in October of 2022 and in just 6 weeks of implementing the strategies the team suggested for Swingly, I ended up doubling my Q4 revenue goal and increasing my conversion rate by over 230%. And even with the holiday season and running strategic sale offers, I increased my average order value by over 10%. The program is certainly not a one-size fits all program either. Spencer (Ecom Consultant) deep dives into your business and makes suggestions on what will work best for you to reach your business goals. Spencer is super knowledgeable and deeply cares for our businesses and often goes above and beyond what we need. I have also found a lot of value in community of entrepreneurs you meet at Scaleboom. Being in the program with other entrepreneurs who relate to you and can share their experiences and perspectives has been super helpful as well.

Our journey with LaunchBoom and in turn ScaleBoom began with the intention of crowdfunding, but as we progressed with the production process, we discovered a low upfront cost/quick manufacturing solution that made us rethink our strategy & decide to skip crowdfunding & jump straight into eCommerce sales. Our main concern was how we were going to figure out eCommerce when starting at zero knowledge & only having 4-6 weeks to figure it out prior to having inventory on hand ready to sell. When our contacts at LaunchBoom told us about their ScaleBoom program for eCommerce brands/companies looking to transition from crowdfunding success to building and eCommerce machine well you can imagine our relief. It held up to the potential promise. On day zero with ScaleBoom, we were able to immediately get our hands on the ScaleBoom program's classroom content that helped with everything from store setup to eComm landing page setup to Meta (FB/Insta) advertising setup to Klaviyo email setup and a whole lot more! We had an awesome onboarding call with the pogrom lead that helped round out our key questions to get ready plus multiple office hour session plus one off question responsiveness from ScaleBoom's coaches that enabled us to be setup with our store/email campaigns & start to pre-sell into our crowdfunding leads/reservation holders in just 2 weeks (a process we originally imagined would take 2 months). With ScaleBoom's guidance/advisement we were then able to immediately jump into advertising after our pre-sale email announcements further building our sales over the subsequent 4 weeks before we even had inventory available! From there we were off to the races. Every week we were testing new emails/advertising/landing pages with guidance from our ScaleBoom coaches and refining our eCommerce machine. We went from 0 to 100 at a speed we wouldn't have otherwise felt comfortable/confident moving (nr would we have been capable of on our own) without the ScaleBoom program's excellent content, coaching & advisement. The general experience with ScaleBoom has bene incredible for a eCommerce brand starting from essentially nothing (crowdfunding turned presale) to feeling/executing like a true eCommerce business/success in just 10 weeks. From store setup to advertising to email marketing, analytics, tracking pixels implementation, creative testing/management (website + ads) and even core business dashboards... there was not a core area of eCommerce startup & scaling that the program didn't cover in a range of formats. From the modules & historical database of similar questions from other eComm businesses/leads in the program right at our fingertips to office hours + Q&A with experts like the lead coach/consultant of the program Spencer whose years of experience in scaling eCommerce brands has been immensely helpful when translated into consultation on our own particular business. That coaching plus additional consultation from the ScaleBoom program's frequent guests ranging from other members of the LaunchBoom/ScaleBoom team as well as outside experts they bring in has proven invaluable. And finally, but in many ways just as important... the ScaleBoom program includes fellow founders/starts who are dealing with the same general challenges/opps/issues you rare. Being able to learn from their observations/ issues/ opportunities/ mistakes and more before you even even encounter them yourself (and not feel alone while you tackle them) is incredible! And the tangible results... we sold out our first batch of inventory in 10 weeks & consistently lowered our cost of acquisition each week all the way to a net profitable level over that same time period. ScaleBoom condensed the time we were able to achieve this in and provide a basis to scaling a successful eCommerce business where we could build up/gain in-house knowledge, know how in months not years plus learn how to test/iterate at lightning speed using best practices. And they even provide a business operating dashboard so you can stay on top of the big picture! The crazy thing is we feel we're just scratching the surface both with our own potential and the value the program can provide to us over the long-term. There's not a week that goes by where our most important question, opportunity, risk or issue of the moment (there's always something) isn't answered with expert advice & "been there" level of know-how/knowledge on eCommerce business/revenue scaling. To say we're thankful for the incredible value ScaleBoom & it's program leads have provided to us as an upstart is a severe understatement. We wouldn't be where we are and on the trajectory we are heading without the help of the ScaleBoom program and the wonderful people who lead it.

I would (and have already) definitely recommend LaunchBoom. I loved the fact that it was affordable and I still was able to do the work / have creative control. The team was diligent in qualifying us so we knew we were a good fit before joining. The modules are really well done and I learned a lot. The content overall is really well done. Each time I talked to Soren (one of the consultants) he was really helpful and I appreciated his support. If you dedicate the time and effort this is a wonderful program. I’ve talked directly with other entrepreneurs and recommended them to sign up.

It’s a proven method that works. It was a great experience and the value is there. You get clarity on all of it. I read Crowdfunded and was contemplating doing it myself and then found Accelerator and I definitely wouldn’t have done it as well or in the same amount of time. It was so helpful to have that live feedback. I would recommend the program. There are a lot of programs where you have to give up control but this was a hands-on blueprint for your own business.”

The insights and launchboom effect helped my campaign greatly. Would have likely flopped without knowing what kind of metrics I should have prior to launching. Office hours are also great being able to speak with other kickstarters and getting lots of feedback.
