I placed an order during Black Friday for a great portafilter (bought the same style with a different handle on Amazon in March 2024) and puck screens. I did experience the long delay with product shipping and delivery, but the company was very polite and responsive to emails. I assumed the product was coming from China and expected that shipping would take awhile especially because it was the holiday season and they were offering good prices for the products they carry. I'm not sure how or why customers would assume their products weren't coming from China. A simple browse of their US website made it perfectly clear that the products could ship from their warehouse in China. Their shipping policy states that they have different warehouses, but a product may ship from a different warehouse based on their available supply. I assumed making a purchase during a busy, holiday season meant the product would come from their main warehouse in China. I'm satisfied with the experience and products that I received from Lastaforest. This was my second time purchasing from them and I'm sure I'll purchase from them again.

Thank you for this thoughtful and detailed review! We're so grateful for customers like you who understand our shipping process and appreciate our product quality. You're absolutely right - during busy periods like Black Friday, orders may ship from our main warehouse in China, which can take longer. We really appreciate your patience and understanding about the shipping times. It means so much to hear that you found our customer service team polite and responsive, and that you're satisfied with both your portafilter and puck screens. Thank you for being a returning customer and for taking the time to share your experience in such detail - it helps other customers know what to expect. Happy brewing!

Online purchasing experience is good, but shipping experience is absolutely horrendous. Do yourself a favor and purchase elsewhere if you want to get your order in under 4-6 weeks. Purchased three weeks ago and still hasn’t even shipped.

Dear valued customer, I sincerely apologize for the delayed shipping of your order. We are currently experiencing longer processing times due to the Lunar New Year holiday period (Jan 27 - Feb 5). We will resume normal shipping operations on February 6th. Please email us at [email protected] with your order number for a detailed status update. As a thank you for your patience, we'd like to offer you a special discount on your next purchase. Best regards,
Doug S.
Took a week to 10days to get a shipping email with tracking number only to discover its shipping from mainland China. This practice of not divulging these extended shipping times of three weeks or more from payment has got to stop. We live in a two-days-to-my-doorstep world. Any company that can’t deliver on that doesn’t get my business. And this company is not a deep discount seller. I expected much more.

Dear valued customer, Thank you for your feedback about our shipping transparency. While we do ship from multiple warehouses (USA, EU, and China) based on stock availability, we should have made the origin and timeline clearer at checkout. Our standard delivery estimates are clearly listed in our shipping policy, ranging from 4-17 days depending on location, plus 2-5 business days for processing. For detailed tracking of your order or any shipping concerns, please email us at [email protected] with your order number. Best regards!

I am giving such a low review because the delivery was very slow (over a month from Germany to Italy) which did not meet the claims on the website. The customer service was responding promptly to emails, but provided no real solution nor further info. I can’t review the product since it was a gift for someone else. However being offered a discount in exchange for a positive review, makes me question the authenticity of the ratings

Dear valued customer, I sincerely apologize for your order taking over a month from Germany to Italy, which clearly didn't meet our stated EU delivery timeline of 6-12 days. While we appreciate that our customer service team was responsive, you're right that they should have provided more concrete solutions and information. Regarding review incentives - thank you for bringing this to our attention. We want authentic customer feedback and will review our review practices to ensure complete transparency. Please email us at [email protected] with your order details so we can investigate why your EU delivery took so much longer than our standard timeline. Best regards, Ma

My order last for +1 month to get, apparently they are shipping from China thru USPS. Once I made the claim my only option was to wait for the product then to send them back at my cost, my opinion is that this company is doing a great job on social network with no so efficient or controlled fulfillment system.

Dear valued customer, I apologize for the extended delivery time and lack of clear communication about shipping from our China warehouse. You're right - while we maintain active social media presence, we need to improve our fulfillment operations and return policies. Your feedback about shipping and returns is valuable. We are working to make our warehouse operations more efficient and transparent. Please email us at [email protected] with your order details so we can address your specific situation. Best regards, Ma

Absolutely trash experience. Purchasing was fine, but had to wait nearly a month to get my merchandise. Okay, fine. Once I received it, half my order was wrong or didn't match the descriptions on the website. I reached out to them and they fed me some half-baked excuse, and when I asked to return the items, they refused to pay return shipping. I checked and cost of shipping to China (where the company is located) and it is $80!! Absolutely not worth a return. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company to get my $200 back.

Dear valued customer, I sincerely apologize for this terrible experience - from the long delivery time to receiving incorrect items and the difficult return situation. This is completely unacceptable. I understand your frustration with the high return shipping costs to China. Let me help resolve this immediately without requiring you to ship anything back. Please email us at [email protected] with your order number and photos of the incorrect items. I will personally ensure you receive: A full refund for any incorrect items No requirement to return the items given the shipping costs Clear explanation of what went wrong with your order There's no need to dispute the charge - we want to make this right for you directly. Best regards, Ma
