Use another lab
When I showed up for my appointment, the reception area was tiny and over filled. Not sized for the volume of patients. And, it was filthy. Like, I didn’t want to touch anything filthy. This for a lab. The receptionist couldn’t confirm my order. I gave her the requisition number. She refused to look it up via the order number and told me to send my paperwork so a king obscure email written on a slip of paper taped to a wall. After email was rejected by their server twice, I wrote down the requisition number and handed it to her. She refused to take it or look at it. She demanded my phon, I showed it to her(the order), and she insisted I hand he my phone. Nah. I think not. At this point, she tells me to sit down. I ask her three or four times if she sees my order and then she finally responds yes. Super pleasant at every step. 5 minutes later, she asks for my credit card? What for? This is covered by my insurance at 100%, in network. No, I have to charge you for it, and if they approve, we will refund. Nope. That’s not how am In-network lab works. I offer her my insurance card, so she can cerify. No, I need your credit card. This isn’t a credit card. No kidding. You are definitely not getting that. I have no choice but to leave, without my labs. Possibly with a new communicable disease, though. Waste of 90 minutes of my life. There are other lab companies.
