I strongly advise anyone considering KurvPay (working in collaboration with PaymentCloud) to stay away. My experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional: • Hidden and Arbitrary Fees: Daily fees, card brand fees, monthly fees, platform usage fees, and minimum transaction fees are charged without prior notice or explanation. • Unauthorized Deductions: They deducted $64 from my account without notifying me or getting authorization. • Rolling Reserve Nightmare: They hold 5% of all funds and refuse any release until 6 months of processing, even though my account has consistent, low-risk transactions. • No Transparency: Requests for explanations are ignored or met with vague responses, leaving you constantly in the dark about charges. • Collaboration Confusion: While PaymentCloud is involved, KurvPay enforces all risk and reserve policies, making it very difficult to resolve issues. • Cash Flow Risk: This combination of high fees, unauthorized deductions, and frozen funds makes it almost impossible to run a business reliably. If you value your money and sanity, do not use KurvPay or rely on PaymentCloud’s processing through them. I am closing my account due to these sketchy practices and hope others avoid this headache.

They are crooks and freaking horrible. They single handedly destroyed my business by with holding funds for chargebacks, even after they took the money out of my bank account. Could never get any one on the phone, finally got someone through email, would not help at all, kept wanting more and more forms and services. Still jumping through hoops. Our chargebacks have gone down every month, but they act like we have a more than 50% chargeback rate when it's actually less than 7% for last month. Use a different merchant provider, they will screw you over and not care one bit.

They held our money for a month to verify two charges. They called my clients and made them feel very concerned about giving their card out. I lost both clients and lots of money. KURV never would call me back. I talked to a manager, and he said he would call me back, never did. They held other funds that had nothing to do with the verified client, too. I refunded the money to the other clients and told them I didn't want to do business with them. Now they call me back to tell me they will charge me to cancel my contract. Worst customer service I've ever seen!

Very disappointing experience with Kurv Pay, especially for a new account. I processed only 3–4 transactions, and my funds were immediately placed on hold. Despite providing all requested customer information and even processing an additional transaction to match their “average ticket size” requirement, the funds are still being held with no clear resolution timeline. Because of this, I had to issue refunds just to manage the situation, yet the original funds are still not released. This has directly affected my business operations and cash flow. What makes this worse is the lack of clarity and consistency. I’m being charged fees for maintaining the account, but I’ve stopped using Kurv Pay entirely because it feels like every transaction risks being held. For comparison, I’m processing significantly higher volume (around 20K) with another provider and receiving payouts on time without issues — which highlights how unreliable this experience has been. At this point, Kurv Pay feels more like a risk than a payment solution.
