They don't respond to support inquiries from existing clients, no matter if you email their support email, submit a form, etc. It will go unanswered.

This is the old EMS Payments from Cleveland Ohio. They had to change their name because of their predatory reputation. Do not use them. Do not take a reserve - reseve will KILL your company. I agree with the review below - they post FAKE reviews. We have reported them to Trust Pilot. Very defictful company. They will hold your money forever and then lie about it. We reported them to the FTC - you should too. They have over 400 lawsuits filed against Merchants - their attorney is in court for them every day and of course he wins. Just don't do it.

Update to Our review. Mastercard said Kurv is responsible to show an assessment but it has been 15 days they are intentionally dont provide anything else. They said contact with us on reply but no one responded. Instead they delete another 75k from our reserve and send to BMO bank which is their acquirer bank without our information or confirmation. They still intentionally dont say anything about our case. Also we received confirmation from Mastercard we are not on Match List!!!! Stay Away from this company! I strongly urge every business owner to think twice before trusting KurvPay with their money. Our experience has been financially devastating. We have operated in e-commerce for seven years, maintained a low chargeback rate, and never experienced anything like this. KurvPay terminated our merchant accounts and placed approximately $181,000 of our funds into reserve for at least 120 days, claiming it was necessary for chargeback liability. When we questioned why they needed to hold such a large amount, their only explanation was that our contract allowed it. Then things got significantly worse. We discovered that approximately $106,000 had been removed from our displayed reserve balance without prior explanation, and KurvPay had also attempted to withdraw another $169,000 directly from our bank account. When we demanded answers, they suddenly informed us that Mastercard had allegedly imposed a $275,000 GRIP assessment against our business. We repeatedly asked for official documentation, the specific reason for the assessment, how the amount was calculated, and how we could appeal it. We have received no satisfactory explanation or supporting documentation. Instead, KurvPay Intentionally keeps telling us to contact Mastercard directly, even though Mastercard generally handles these matters through acquiring banks rather than directly with merchants. How can a payment processor attempt to collect $275,000 while claiming it has no information explaining the assessment? Today, their collections department contacted us demanding approximately $200,000. When we reminded them that $106,000 had already been removed from our reserve, the representative apologized and revised the claimed balance to approximately $93,000. How can a collections department make a six-figure demand and then change the amount so dramatically during a single conversation? This is completely unacceptable. We have now hired an attorney. Even after our lawyer contacted KurvPay, they continued directing us to Mastercard without providing the documentation we requested. We are a small business, not a multinational corporation. The money being withheld is needed to pay our employees, fulfill customer orders, and cover operating expenses. Because of this situation, our entire business is at risk. If we cannot fulfill orders, customers may initiate additional chargebacks, making the situation even worse. We are not trying to avoid legitimate obligations. We are demanding transparency, evidence, accurate accounting, and a fair opportunity to challenge this enormous assessment. KurvPay repeatedly relies on contractual provisions to justify its actions, but having a contract should not mean merchants must accept hundreds of thousands of dollars in charges without receiving a proper explanation. TO EVERY SMALL BUSINESS OWNER: PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH KURVPAY. Read your contract carefully, especially provisions concerning reserves, assessments, bank withdrawals, and personal guarantees. Seven years of hard work are now at risk because of this situation. We trusted KurvPay to process our payments, not to leave us fighting for answers about hundreds of thousands of dollars. We are pursuing this matter through legal counsel and will continue demanding accountability. Until KurvPay provides proper documentation and a transparent explanation, I cannot recommend this processor to any business owner. **Protect your business. Protect your employees. Protect your money. Think twice before trusting KurvPay.

Honestly this place is horrible. They take money from you and do not give it back. They will move goal posts to avoid returning your funds and instead of actually drawing money from your held funds they will just debit my bank account. This place is super scummy and I would tell anyone to void them as much as possible

Absolutely horrible, they don't tell you all the hidden fees. very unprofessional. Half of the dashboard doesn't work. They keep a Rolling reserve that's extremely high and it doesn't even get used for chargebacks. Then when you close the account they keep the money for atleast 180 days. And if you get another chargeback in that time frame, it resets.

I don’t recommend dealing with them at all. First of all, they advertise, that there is no monthly fee, or minimum transactions, or minimum monthly. (They also State that the process is rapid, absolutely not). I spent the whole week on nonsense details and detailed information sent to them. And then when they sent the contract, it was all filled up with charges and certain charges and new items that are not under it. You can see for yourself. (unfortunately there's no option to attach images here). Essentially, they state the conditions verbally and in ads, but on the final step (contract). They just pile up a bunch of charges, that were never discussed or advertised. What a waste of time, a whole week getting nowhere.

Surprise fees, a promised reimbursement, and a supervisor nobody can reach. My experience with Kurv Merchant Services has left me feeling scammed. After reviewing my bank records from October 2025 through October 1, 2026, I want answers about the charges and my money back for every improper deduction. Here is what I found after accounting for identified returns: • October 2025: $0.20. • November 2025: $50.68. • December 2025: $54.59. • January 2026: $77.62. • February 2026: $129.42. • March 2026: $101.77. • April 2026: Three attempts of $172.42 each, all returned. • May 2026: $182.98, plus a separate $99 chargeback. • June 2026: $146.52, plus a separate $14 adjustment. • July 2026: $97.43. • August 2026: $126.35. • October 1, 2026: $418.17 shown as pending in my screenshot. September is excluded because I have not yet reviewed that statement. The records reviewed show $1,080.56 in posted debits after returns, plus $418.17 pending, totaling $1,498.73 under dispute. My processing activity decreased, yet the charges increased substantially overall. The October 1 debit alone was more than eight times November’s $50.68 charge. Then, during a call several days ago, a representative told me I had been charged $50 for being “noncompliant.” This was the first time anyone had explained that charge to me. When I signed up, nobody explained the compliance requirement or the consequences of failing to complete it. How do you sell a business your services, fail to clearly explain a requirement that carries a fee, and leave the owner to discover it nearly a year later while questioning deductions? I have since completed the compliance process, and a representative told me I would be reimbursed. But when I tried to follow up on that promised reimbursement, I got another runaround. I requested a supervisor and was promised a callback within 24 hours. Nobody called. When I called the next day, I was told a supervisor would contact me whenever one became available. No date. No timeframe. No resolution. You could charge my account, but now that reimbursement is being discussed, I cannot get a supervisor to return my call. That is unacceptable. I demand that Kurv Merchant Services honor the reimbursement I was promised and refund every additional amount determined to have been improperly charged. I also want an itemized billing history showing when the $50 noncompliance fees were assessed, how many were charged, and where those fees and requirements were disclosed. I am tired of excuses and broken callback promises. Small business owners should not have to chase a company repeatedly to understand deductions from their own accounts. I intend to file complaints with the Attorney General’s office and the FTC, contact my elected representative, and explore my legal options. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Kurv Merchant Services to another business owner. Honor your reimbursement promise. Explain the charges. Return the money improperly deducted. Enough of the runaround.
