Brought a £55 lock which is part of their key safe program where they say that they will send you 2 replacement keys if you lose yours,have now been trying for a month to get a reply from them about sending new keys a total of 3 separate request and all followed up by myself but not viewed by them.Totally useless and shambolic customer services once they have your money you don't matter my advice is don't bother.

Thanks to the NEW YORK chain my bike was stolen. The padlock seized during regular use, forcing me to use a cheaper chain temporarily. Then my r1 got stolen. Whats the point of having a expensive lock when the lock itself is garbage. BAD BAD BAD

Bought one of their Gold Standard locks which was broken into and my bike stolen. Annoying seeing as I spent a good amount of money on the lock, but no lock is unbreakable. The issues mainly come with the customer service. I had to chase numerous times to even get a response and the responses were so slow and basic that I then went over the 30 day limit to 'file a claim' even though I reported it to them via email within 24 hours. Their responses are so painfully slow that you just cannot rely on them to come back to you at all. as a result, I cannot file for a claim for the stolen bike. Really poor service throughout. They are now offering me a replacement lock - not much point now I don't have a bike but better than nothing.

**AVOID, AVOID, AVOID*** Bought a £40-£50 bike lock which came with insurance (the only reason I bought this lock). My bike was stolen and I reported to the police and to Kryptonite straight away. They claim to respond to your claim within 30 days however this didn't happen therefore I had to chase the claim. They eventually responded to my email claiming that they couldn't view the images and information which had been requested (I was somewhat confused as to why they hadn't contacted me to find this out within the 30 days). They hadn't reviewed my claim properly as they were asking further questions to which the information had already been provided by myself. They requested a copy of the police report when the police don't issue reports they only issue case numbers - this obviously isn't goo enough for Kryptonite. As the lock was stolen with the bike KRYPTONITE won't pay out. DO NOT BUY THERE PRODUCTS - AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!!

Got a lock for 50£ with insurance offer. A thief stole my bike using electric saw to get through that lock so I reported it to police and kryptonitelock company. They answered after 2 weeks claiming they cannot see my registration and asked me when did I register. 6 weeks later and couple of more emails from my side they didn't even bother to reply. Avoid them as their lock are ineffective, expensive and full of promises.
