Applied for ATPO claim. Got an email confirming that it would take at least a 30 day waiting period before they could process my claim. They also said they would update me within 5-7 after the claim. No responses to any of my emails or requests. It has been over 40 days now. Very annoyed and disappointed. EDIT: This is unbelievable they replied to my question and I gave them my details and then I was told they would respond to me immediately. It has now been 2 days and still no response. I have a feeling that this will go on for a long time. Very disapointed and annoyed by lack of customer service on the actual kryptonite site yet they were quick to respond on here.

I have got in touch with Kryptonite twice through their website and have never received a reply. Poor customer service!

Kryptonite's key safe program experience was disappointing. I had to follow up several times before receiving 2 working spare keys after 14 months - that's far too long.

Dreadful customer service. The "free replacement key" offer that comes with the product guarantee feels like a con. I asked for a replacement in early Sept 2021, and after chasing, eventually got a reply on 24/11 saying that a key had been ordered. Since then no key, no update, no response to chases. Hopeless

I have waited 1 year for a response to a query and help with their service which I am paying for! The company gives you a ticket number and states do not follow up regarding a query or you will be put to the back of the queue. Everyone who has experience shopping knows that if you cannot chase up a company, they just wont get back to you. You may be able to lock your bike, but the customer service is non existent and therefore I would suggest not bothering to pay for the theft service, because in the time it takes for any response you could have bought yourself a new bike. P.s the locks are expensive compared to others on the market, so the service should be top notch! Very very unsatisfied customer who would like a refund, or a resolution.

No responses from customer service. I tried calling, and all I got was a poor woman who was utterly out of her depth using a computer. She was very stressed, but given 10 minutes on the phone, asking where my order was, she couldn't clearly articulate what state it was in. She promised to get back to me, but hasn't. I don't know if I'll ever get my keys. At least if I do, I've already raised and settled a dispute with my cardholder and had the money refunded. What an actual joke of a company. They need to give that woman some more support or training. Next time I buy a lock, it's going to be Abus.

Honestly you need to read this before you buy a Kryptonite lock. This review comes from a guy who likes good quality items that work. I am here to save you time and money. After buying two Kryptonite locks, both locks ended up in the bin after a 2-5 months of active usage. The lock itself does lock your bike and occasional reviews mention that they were opened by bike thieves. However, the main problem is not that the locks won't protect your bike from being stolen. It seems to be its natural cycle that the lock simply brakes after certain amount of usage - like you meant to buy a new one. It rusts (under normal conditions) and one random moment you just simply can't remove the key. In this case you either have to cut your bike off from the lock, or you were lucky enough that the key did not turn while you had it in your hand. Nonsense. A lock should not just stop working after a few weeks of active usage. Main problem. This lock is NOT waterproof at all. The lightest drizzle will start to rot the lock and it's key, the doomsday is inevitable. Avoid it at all costs. The other times handy WB 40 is useless against this menace, it actually makes it worst that I experienced as well. A bike lock should work for a few years. Should not rust after using it. I mean what were these people thinking. They are producing a bike lock that meant to be used outside, yes in the rain dear engineers and in rough conditions. Create a product that works, do not rip people off. These are the products that use up or planet. Governments should not allow such thing to exist in 2021.
