I have shopped at Kohls for many many years! I love the store and use my coupons and Kohls cash faithfully. I received a coupon for 40% off for one day only 11/12/2023. I went shopping and purchased many things. There was no mention anywhere on the coupon that there were exclusions. When I checked out I saw that many items I purchased did not include the discount. I went to customer service and was told that there are many exclusions. I asked how do I know what these exclusions are. She said on your receipt if there is an arrow by the item it is excluded. I asked well how do you know in advance before you make your purchases. She said you have to go to the Kohls website to see what is excluded. I have always purchased ASICS and New Balance shoes and always got the coupons. But when I looked at the website those shoes are now excluded from using coupons. Actually the list is so long about what is excluded it’s probably about 90% of the store! So I am very disappointed that Kohls coupons say nothing about exclusions and so much is excluded! Needless to say I took many things back. I think this is a lawsuit waiting to happen as their advertising is false!

Just spent a half hour in check out lane.....prior to Thanksgiving or Christmas. ??
Do not like self check out at kohls. To many sale items at different levels for computer to acknowledge, or for customer to know.
Guess I like the personal contact with a person that you can ask questions...sorry kohl's. May go somewhere else..🙄

Incorrect refund amount, zero resolution
Why does Kohl's make it so difficult to contact customer service online? There is no email address, and the chat option is only with a bot unless you specifically request an associate. I had to do that on three separate instances before someone could actually give me an answer as to why my refund was less than expected: because I returned five items, and they only credited me for four. So now I am out the price of that item, as well as the shipping price since Kohl's does not include free returns. This experience will make me think twice, probably even three times before I ever purchase something from Kohls.com again, because the return process has been such a hassle if you don't live close to a store.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Experience at Kohl's recently had an incredibly…
I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing customer experience at Kohl's Store # 1025 (3979 Van Dyke Rd, Lutz, FL 33558) that I feel compelled to share. I went to the store to pick up an item that I had ordered online. However, I encountered a series of problems that left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. Upon arriving at the store, I realized that I couldn't access the email containing the "code" for my pick-up order. My phone wouldn't work in the store to search my emails.
I approached a salesclerk for assistance, hoping to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the salesclerk was not helpful at all and displayed a dismissive attitude. She repeatedly insisted that I needed the code to retrieve my item. I tried to explain that I had the order number, but she insisted that it didn't help her in any way. Thankfully, another worker happened to walk up and overheard our conversation. He immediately suggested to the first clerk, "Get the order number" . The first cleak repeated; we have that. She doesn't have her code." After some more back-and-forth, the second worker suggested getting someone to help me pick up the item.
What followed was a painful and unprofessional exchange. The first clerk made a store announcement, to have someone pick up the item and then the two started complaining to each other about the lack of staff working that day, seemingly oblivious to the fact that her dissatisfaction was being broadcast to everyone standing around. The two clerks then engaged in a conversation about the shortage of employees, with one remarking, "No one is here, just you, me, and so and so."
Finally, "so and so" arrived and agreed to retrieve my item. Throughout this entire ordeal, I felt like I was being treated with condescension and disrespect. I understand that customer service can be challenging, but basic courtesy and professionalism should never be compromised.
I must admit that I felt like the stereotype of a "Karen" during this interaction, but the truth is that simple customer service should not be this complicated.
I left Kohl's with a sense of frustration and disappointment, vowing to share my experience in the hope that it prompts improvement in the level of service provided to customers. Kohl's, please take note and prioritize better training and customer service for your employees.
Due to the experience, I vow never to order from Kohls and have it delivered to the store. This was painful.

I ordered a few things online
I ordered a few things online. My order was wrong. I ordered two of one item, and only got one. I ordered two different color flip flops, and got two of the same color. Don't think I will buy online from Kohls anymore.

Kohl's customer service is…difficult to deal with
Kohl's customer service is non-existent. They asked me if I would like to open a credit line with them, sent me a card and promptly blocked the card because of "uncharacteristic" charges. Extremely difficult people to deal with. Go to Target or Walmart, less aggravation.

Kohls capitol one visa
The new Kohls capitol one visa is not recognized as a Kohls card when you try to order. Therefore, no discounts are applied. I tried Kohls help assistant who then referred me to Cap One help number. I spoke with three different people there with no resolution. After searching this on facebook I see there’s been tons of issues with the new visa cards.

Mailed used item
They had a 15% off coupon on their website and you could earn Kohl's cash. I purchased a small kitchen appliance online. When it arrived the box was all beat up and had been taped multiple times. When I cut the box open I saw that the appliance had a big dent in the top and it was no longer wrapped in it's original plastic.
It even still had the old mailing label on it where they had previous mailed it to someone else. When I looked at the address it shipped from it was the same address I was supposed to mail the return to (the returns center).
So, lesson learned. If you get a discount, they are going to mail you a returned item. The only good thing was returning it was fast and easy at the store.
