i have shopping at kohls for a few years now. gotten some great deals..shipping is slow.but as long as i get it, i am happy..i hate how orders are broken down, even if you order 2 of the same items in different colors..have really had no issues until recently. i ordered a xero exposure parka and received a dockers water resistant jacket instead..same price , size and color..just not near the same coat as i need a winter coat not a jacket..they were out of my size so,they are supposed to credit me..waiting the 7 days for that... i ordered a sonoma top and after 10 days, tracking says it was delivered in my mailbox . was not as i am home and checked mailbox right away...they say i was credited back, as i used my charge card for all online transactions....will have to wait the 7 days to see!! other then that, no major issues and online help have been polite....i have gotten some great deals at kohls ..online and instore..people are always polite..i shop at the warsaw IN. store....

I placed an online order with Kohl's on the 17th. The total of the order was about $87. They charged my Paypal account $19.44 immediately. Not one of the items I ordered cost $19.44. Since then, two items of a 7 item order have shipped. Inexplicably, three days later $25.80 has been charged to my Paypal account for a total charge of $45.24. The cost of the two items that shipped is $30, so why has my account been charged an additional $15.24? I called customer service (and yes, customer service is handled in another country, which causes certain communication issues if you know what I mean). "Victor" couldn't find any information about what is going on. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said I had to have an appointment and they will call me at their convenience. Wut? Like that's a thing. Finally, I was able to chat online with a representative. That took 2 hours because it was down for "technical difficulties." They can't give me an accounting for the charges, either. Right in the middle of the chat, "Seamus N" sent the following three messages in immediate succession while I was typing my response to the previous message: "I am sorry we do not have that information. You can call our team at 855-564-5705 Is there anything else I may help you with today? It looks like you've stepped away from your computer..." and ended the chat. If I have to, I'll file a dispute with Paypal. Otherwise, take my advice and purchase elsewhere. Update: I emailed corporate and they contacted me immediately. The first charge was for an order that I had placed online and picked up on the same day I placed this order, so it was unrelated. If one of the customer service reps had told me this, there would be no problem. Kohl's isn't being served well by whomever they outsourced their customer service function to, so I'm deducting a couple stars. If you're experiencing problems with customer service, contact corporate.

I use to love kohl's and use to shop there all the time. Here's why I no longer shop there: Plus sized clothing or petite sized clothing. Those are your only choices. The normal sized clothing even runs large. Those with a little extra weight won't find anything that fits. Their store brand use to fit me pretty well but they've changed it and it now runs on the large size. Quality. Their clothing quality has significantly dropped over the years. I use to get 10+ months out of their clothing and now I'm finding if I get 3-4 months out of them. Being tight on money this is a waist of money for me. I expect my clothing to last longer than 5 or 6 washes. I wash cold water cycle and line dry so there's no reason holes should be forming in them after 2-4 washes. Their clothing quality shrinks when you wash it and dry it in the dryer. After about 6-10 washes it's shrinks. Online returns. I don't know about you but I order online so I can return them online as well. No! Kohl's you have to return them in person. This can either be simple or difficult. I've order many a items that show up on their website but fail to show up in their store system and the return desk has issues trying to return them. I order lots of cloths to try on for sizing and you sort of have to do this when ordering online. Some attendants get really snooty with you when you try to return 15+ cloths due to the fact zero of them fit. I've learned to slowly return big orders over a couple months instead of all at once. My orders are 100% legit but I get the look like I stole them or something. Even though I brought recites for all of them. During covid their services were hit or miss and often unreliable. Clothing on the shelves were often out of date and sat for longer than their intended season. The traditional set up of clothing did not shuffle through the stores like it usually did. They held onto the old merchandize until the sales racks were 70% empty. From 2019 through about 2021 their clothing selection was at the mercy of what manufacturers could send through to them. Changing rooms were randomly open or closed and boy did the sales attendants despise it when you tried to slip a shirt on in the aisle over your own shirt. Just before covid I placed an order for some shirts and ended up holding onto them for 15 months before I could go in and return them. Pros. These are the only pros I can think of: Clean stores. Reliably open. Decent prices. Good selection of home items. Decent parking.

I do most of my shopping on line anymore, mainly due to Covid, but have always considered Kohl's a reliable store. That is, until the other day. I was looking for a particular item, Kohl's had it on line so I ordered it. When I do order on line it is frequently to send an item to an out of state family member, but I am the buyer. Most online vendors proceed to address me by the recipient's name instead of my name. But Kohl's got it right! So......I first tried live chat to thank them for that.Therein the trouble started - first the live chat responded with "Sorry for the error", followed by how to correct the error. When I responded with the fact that there was NO error, that I was just trying to thank them for doing things right, well......let's just say......it was all down hill from there!🤨 It ended with me terminating the chat, locating their customer service number, then sitting on hold for 18 minutes to verify that my order had gone through, and would be shipped. (I have since received notification that the order is in the process of being shipped.) I always try to give a 👍 when a company does something well. Now, unfortunately, I'm having to rethink that because apparently Kohl's doesn't want complements, and it caused me A LOT of headaches! 😫 This review would have easily been 5 stars if it hadn't so mishandled what should haw been a simple complement!

Kohls discount used to be good on everything. Now more and more brands are being excluded.

We had initially had a negative experience with one of the representatives not offering any support for a late payment issue. However, one of the representatives, Donnie, was able to fix our issue. We are grateful for service agents that are willing to help.
