Poor Customer Service
I have had a Kohl's credit account for over 13 years. During that time I have paid the balance in full when due. I recently had back surgery and was in the hospital and missed a payment. Kohl's did not notify me via phone call, E-mail, or letter. (I know it is not required by law to do so). However, they immediately reported a delinquency to all 3 credit bureaus. My FICO score dropped from 812 to 728 causing me to pay more for a car loan. I sent 2 letters to the CEO, Mr. Kevin Mansell requesting re-consideration since my account has always been on time. In fact I have never been late on any account in over 40 years. His assistant would not even show him the letters that I sent, stating that "he was too busy to talk to or deal with customer issues." I feel that Kohl's needs to be sensitive to loyal customers and at least give them the right to be heard and not censored by assistant staff members.

I made an order on October 12
I made an order on October 12, 2017 with Kohls. I ordered six different things and on October 17 I received two of the things. The rest of the order was supposed to be delivered on October 18th. I received a box from Kohls on that day with our address on it, but inside was not my things. There was a packing slip addressed to Peachtree Georgia with several items that should have been sent to that address instead of ours. Since this time we have been having a nightmare trying to get our stuff. Rude customer service, (they always respond in the middle of the night with emails) telling it was delivered. They can't figure out that box was addressed to us wrongly - it had someone else's order in it. My husband took it back to the store here in League City, Texas yesterday and they took it gladly - of course. But they then proceeded to tell us it was the post office's fault and not theirs. They said our box was delivered!!!! Are they idiots that can't understand the mixup? Every day for the last week we have been in contact with them. All the same junk!!! Say our box was delivered to us. Nothing!!! No help whatsoever. I can't even believe a company can be in business this long treating customers like they are lying. I will never ever order from them again. Never go through something like us again!!!! Save yourselves a big headache and order from another company - Never had problems with JCPenney, Target, or Amazon.

My husband purchased an apple watch for …
My husband purchased an apple watch for me as anniversary gift off of the khols.com website. They had the apple watch series 3 listed at $249.00. When they shipped the watch, they sent a series 1. Prior to this I called custmer service that following Monday to check on my order and the gentleman on the phone said I should get the watch I ordered. When the wrong watch arrived, I made asecond call. They refused to honor the price that I paid for the series 3 watch. (They changed the description on the website to a series 1, so it would reflect what I paid.) Went into the Columbia, Md location to exchange the watch and see if they would honor the price, because it was clearly a Khols mistake. They refused as well. I would not recommend shoping with them at all. My experience was filled with disappointment, save yourself the frustration and shop another big box store.

The "help" department and registry are the worst
My new husband and I registered here for our wedding. The wedding was two weeks ago and we have received most of our gifts. How ever three days after the wedding they deleted our registry and I know for a fact we have not got all the gifts. One gift is a very nice set of pots and pan and when I called to see if they could tell me where is, they said the computer could only see what I could, it also took them 30 mins of me being on hold to find out they were no help at all. I wouldn't recommend that you do any kind of registry with them. We also registered at bed bath and beyond and they have been incredible, we had a large wedding and they were able to help with anything I have needed.

Online bill pay is just really bad
Online bill pay is just really bad. The worse of any company I have ever seen. You would think it was just invented and it was 1970. No debit, really? I can not log in with Chrome, my correct user id never works and the system is down all the time. They use Safari or Firefox, really??????? They keep asking for my 12 digit account number when the account numbers on my bill has ten digits. They need to jojn this century. I won't shop there anymore because it is such a pain using and paying for my credit card bill.

We ordered fine China from Kohls …
We ordered fine China from Kohls online. We ordered service for 8, but they delivered service for four. When we called to find out if another box had been shipped, they were unable to tell us. Their computer system just didn't know! They had to create some sort of case and investigate and the investigation would take 72 hours!. Something that Amazon could do with a dozen keystrokes, no problem. The utter incompetence of this organization is beyond belief. Amazon is putting these guys out of business and they deserve to goniut of business. DO NOT ORDER FROM KOHLS ONLINE!!

NEVER AGAIN, KOHL'S
I will never shop or order online from Kohl’s ever again.
In September 2017 I submitted an online order for a variety of stuff amounting to $200. A couple days later I looked in my email to see if the order had been processed and shipped. I found an email in my junk box saying that the order couldn’t be completed and to call the customer service line. I called and spoke to a kind customer service representative, named Michael. He assured me that they just needed to verify my order since it was such a large one. I understood and gave him the information he requested. I then asked him to apply a 15% discount on the order that had been emailed to me. He processed the order with me on the phone and assured me it would ship soon. I never got an email with the tracking information for the order, so I called customer service again after the weekend and had the worst experience with customer service I’ve ever had. I talked to a woman who said it didn’t look like my order had been processed at all. I said that I had just spoken with another representative two days prior who assured me everything was fine with the order and that I had verified who I was, etc. She then said I would actually need to go into the store to verify who I was. I was stunned, and asked what?? She said there was a new policy and she couldn’t do anything to help me unless I went to the nearest Kohl’s store to verify who I was. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was transferred to a man. He reiterated what she said, and I was like, that wasn’t the policy when I had spoken with Michael, the first representative I had dealt with in this mess. He said it was recently implemented. I asked in what world did it make sense to make a customer who ordered something online to go into a store to address this issue. It was such an inconvenience for someone like me who was moving from one house to another, working two jobs, and a full time student. I then told him to just cancel the order because I wanted to take my business elsewhere. He again told me he couldn’t because I needed to verify who I was (and couldn’t just do that over the phone).
Since they were beyond unhelpful I went to the Kohl’s in Redmond, WA where I went to the customer service counter and explained the situation to a nice girl and her supervisor. They were both as confused as I was as about why I was redirected to a store. After about 45 minutes of the supervisor playing middle-man on the phone with customer service I was finally told my order was processed and an email would be sent to track the package. The reps there were WONDERFUL and very sympathetic to my situation.
I asked if they could expedite the order since it was almost 2 weeks past my original order date. They said they were unable to do so. My order was processed and my items were shipped to me almost a month after my original order date.
Since I had ordered so much, I had accrued $20 Kohl’s cash. Against my own better judgment, I decided to order another item online to use the Kohl’s cash. I’ve just now discovered that this order cannot be processed.
I’m not entirely sure why Kohl’s has the option for online ordering since they make it so difficult for customers to actually receive the items they’ve purchased. I’ve been a loyal customer to Kohl’s for many years, but because of all the headaches I’ve endured in the last month—I’m done. I won’t ever shop at Kohl’s again, and I plan on loudly voicing my opinion and story to my friends, family, and colleagues about the lack of service and the notion that Kohl’s supposedly cares about it’s customers.
