Kohl's charge card is NOT a safe card to use online. They don't follow payment card industry standard to verify the billing address.
I placed an order of less than $100 with my Kohl's charge card.
The system auto filled with a very SIMILAR but WRONG shipping address and BILLING address. The transaction went through with the wrong billing address.
I talked to the representative regarding the issue, Joshua with ID 9I5Q, he told me Kohl's charge doesn't verify the billing address for online transactions.
I have made many online transactions with other cards and know that billing address need to be 100% match the address with card for all cards, even a typo will not go through. Credit card companies use this to protect the consumers, that is industry standards. Kohl's charge is the only card not follow the industry standard.
I will never use this card to do online shopping. It is potentially NOT SAFE!

Duplicate Payment Problems in the System
If I could rate negative stars, I would. Scheduled one payment on the online portal for my kohls charge - two payments then came out of my bank account. What’s more strange, they were both two different amounts. I called in to have one of the payments refunded and it was more important to the customer representative to prove that I scheduled two payments, rather than understand that there is a problem with the payment system and fix the problem with the duplicate payment. Fed up, I asked for the manager. She was not helpful, in fact, she was worse - she said that “due to the timing”, they couldn’t refund the payment. I was told to go to the bank to dispute it. Are you serious???? It was Saturday when the payments cleared the bank - I called the following morning. Also, how would I have known to call in if it was my understanding that only one payment went through my bank account?? Then, I asked for information on how to close the account- I still had a balance on my card to pay, so obviously, I did not want to cancel the account that day, but I was very upset with the time I had wasted over the phone, the fact that the issue wasn’t resolved, and the fact that this is not the first time it has happened. This has happened a few times now and I have had to submit multiple complaints now on the payment system. I even told the manager that I wanted to pay down the card before closing down the account. The manager then said that the department was not able to cancel my account and said she would get me more information on how to cancel it. Then she said she just canceled my account?!? I asked her why she canceled, if all I wanted to do was get information on closing the account and then asked her how she could cancel if she said her department didn’t have the ability to...apparently, she then said she did not cancel the account and then chuckled over the phone. Is this a joke?!? The customer service here is TERRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and have an account with someone else!!! When I pay down my card, I am closing down my account. Biggest waste of my time. I forget the name of the manager, I want to say it was Shanice or Shaquisha or something with an S. She needs to be fired.

I placed a $1,500 for my business
I placed a $1,500 for my business, which was shipping to my commercial business address, using our business credit card, and business phone number which is listed over 7,000 times on Google. We are really who we say we are.
The order was placed on fraud alert. I called and spoke to Dwight. He was so rude right off the bat, with a snowflake attitude, like I was interrupting his unicorn and rainbow day.
I was told unless I had a cellphone with a "plan" that I could not receive my order. We are a business. We have a business phone line from the phone company. You know, a phone on a desk, much like any bank or other business in the U.S. has.
I guess Kohl's doesn't want to take larger commercial or business orders. If Kohl's is wondering why Walmart and Amazon is crushing them. Well, this is why Walmart and Amazon is crushes you.
I have never even been in a Kohl's retail location, and I have never shopped online with them. So, without a doubt, I NEVER will again.
Good first impression Kohl's. I now see why they only have a 1 star review here with Trustpilot.
I do see going through the news here, Kohl's is closing stores left and right. It's no wonder. Such a failure of a company, with zero customer service. I begged them to take my money, and they sent us packing.

I was visiting from out of state
I was visiting from out of state. The cashier asked for my license to get my address to give me 20 percent off. Next thing I know she signed me up for a khols credit card. I told her to stop and she said it was too late. What kind of customer service is this? Messing with people's credit! Over this company!

SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE BUT KOHLS
I have always had a Kohls charge account. Credit in excellent standing. Zero balance. Getting ready for an exstensive vacation, I ordered $561. on line. I called customer service because I did not get a confirmation nor did I receive Kohls cash back!! Not understanding... I called customer service. Since the qualifications of receiving Kohls cash ended the exact day before I placed the order...NONE! Wow!!
No emails giving me the date frame to order...Standard answer for not giving Kohls cash??? That's ok. Because I am so angry I will return the entire order and shop elsewhere. Anywhere but Kohls!
Bad service, bad business, bad place to shop on line. We have no Kohls in our local area. Good I will not ever support one!!
My money will be spent supporting other local business.
KOHLS YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO BUSINESS SCHOOL AND STOP FRAUDING YOUR CUSTOMERS. WE WORK TOO HARD FOR OUR MONEY!!

I wish I could give Kohl’s negative stars!
I wish I could give Kohl’s negative stars!! They have the worst customer service and do not want to help or support the customer. Absolutely the worst place to spend your money, I highly recommend any other place than Kohl’s!

Kohls quality is falling terribly and Kohls.com is a hassle and waste of time!
I almost always have nothing but trouble placing an order with Kohls.com! They send me emails offering me discounts and say they give you "Kohls CASH" for your orders, but when you try to apply them, they NEVER work! Then you have to call in to the call center and hope that you get a helpful rep that can finish placing your order for you. Otherwise you just waste a ton of time and it is all for nothing. It is not worth the hassle. Save time and order elsewhere online since they try to lure you in with CASH BACK that never works and your reward for all the trouble is nothing but more headaches!!! And then to add insult to injury, if you actually can get the order placed, the quality of the items and packaging are HORRIBLE! On more than one occasion, I have ordered shoes and the boxes came completely ripped up and smashed. Once I even received a shoe box that had holes stabbed throughout it like a child (or maybe a disgruntled employee) punched it through with their pencil repeatedly. I received a top with the ink tags still on it and had to drive an hour away to the closest store to take it back. I have ordered three of the same exact kind of tops and every one is sized so drastically different that there is no way that they are even in the same range, but when you check the size guide on their website it is all the same. The guides don't match the brands or the actual items, just a generic guide that is meaningless. Unless you live next to a Kohls and have lots of time to run back and forth for returns, don't waste your time or your money. They charge you for mail in returns even if it is there fault!

Online orders
When placing an order online and updating the shipping address their system made an error and shipped to an old address. When calling customer service and speaking with a manager he said they were unable to help me and that I would be out over $200. I think customer service with Kohl's is very bad and I will never order online again because this manager was basically telling me "your out of luck I am not helping you with a credit on your Kohl's account"
To corporate: You should train your employees to treat customers better.
