Horrible well really non existent customer service. It took 3+ hours and 3 different managers to straighten out a billing error. Mostly they just kept saying they weren’t responsible and would try to help, but we’re not really able to do any thing. I decided that I don’t need to shop at Kohl’s and wanted to cancel my account. They can’t even do that. So we had to call a number and be asked a million questions which were on their screens when they pulled up the account. That last manager I spoke with said hang on to the receipt she gave me in case any thing goes wrong. Can’t wait for the next 3 hour session to correct what probably won’t get straightened out. Unbelievable!! Why do they pay their managers when they actually do nothing except tell you they cannot help you. Please Kohl’s give up and close your doors—horrible store and company!!!!!

I usually like kohl’s but I ordered…
I usually like kohl’s but I ordered shoes and I literally received TWO LEFT SHOES and TWO DIFFERENT SHOES although somewhat similar! Really?! I would have much rather been told they are out of stock than this! So of course I will be returning and asking for a replacement and/or refund as this is NOT the 1700s when people wore two left or two right shoes! Even then that’s kind of ridiculous to think people did that!

Poor handling of personal info and privacy, Kohls
Nothing annoys me more than a company abusing my personal data. And what can you do about it? I signed up for a Kohl's card and they got my e-mail address for paperless billing. I have unsubscribed to over a dozen e-mails and I am still receiving them to this day. Give me my personal info back!

Pay for return shipping when Kohls.com screwed up?
I ordered a TravelPro FlightPath 2.0 29" suitcase. Arrived fast. However, the measurements on the suitcase don't match the dimensions on the webpage. I can't use this suitcase, it's a $100 charge from the airline each way for being oversized - and not my fault. I was diligent in knowing the size my airline allowed.
So, I can ship it back right? Item doesn't match description or something like this. Sure, at my cost for shipping (which you can imagine on a 29" suitcase). I also have the option of driving to a store to return it and eating 2 hours of my life. If I wanted to go to the store, I would have bought it from the store in the first place. What if there is no Kohls near me? What if I don't drive?
A call to customer service (overseas?) was zero help. After explaining how the size of the suitcase listed on the website was wrong, they kept telling me I could get a replacement item - 3 times. Sigh.
Do yourself a favor and shop Amazon. At least they will pay for return shipping when they screw up.

I ordered a blue sapphire and white…
I ordered a blue sapphire and white diamond ring from Kohls online. It took forever to get it and after wearing it just a couple of times I lost one of the sapphires. I decided that if Iost one, I would lose another and another. This ring was not put together so that it would last forever. I took it to Kohl's in my town to get a refund. I normally do not shop at Kohl's so I went to the register to do the refund. They told me I had to go to the refund counter to get my refund. When I got there with all my paperwork, they kept looking for the original tiny tag that came with it and that I no longer had. I printed off my receipt a copy of my bank records showing the transaction, and the delivery information. Apparently, you still need that tiny little tag that came with to get a refund. After talking with the manager I had to go to the jewelry department to receive the refund. This is where they asked me, "how would you like to receive your refund?" I had purchased it online so obviously I used my debit card. I asked them if there was any way they could refund in cash so I would not have to wait
several days to receive my refund. The way I look at it is that they get their money immediately when I order something, so when I take it back I should get my refund immediately also. Plus, they asked me how I wanted to receive my refund back. I told them I prefer cash and they told me they would have to refund it the way I paid for it. Why then asked me how I would like to receive my refund? So far it has been several days since I returned the ring. I still do not have my refund on my account. I will not shop at Kohl's again. Their merchandise does not have the same quality as it does at Belk's or even JCPenney for that matter. I was happy I could return it to the store, but it should not have fell apart so easily and they should have just refunded my return in cash to make me happy.

My experience is with Kohls.com
My experience is with Kohls.com. I placed a large order, two items didn't fit because they're sizing is smaller than the average. I was told by Customer Service that in order to exchange the items, I had to send the items back through the post office. Ok? So how do I receive my shipping label to do that? It took me a while to understand what they were trying to tell me due to their muffled voices and maybe because I was baffled by their logic, but I finally got to the bottom of it after speaking to a supervisor, whom informed me that Kohls doesn't offer a postage label and that I would have to pay out of pocket to exchange an item. A billion dollar company and they don't fit the bill for exchanges. Now, is this good business or bad business? I'd say bad. Why? Because, I did my part, I ordered a size that is generally the size I always choose with many brands on the market, I paid for it, and the size for this particular brand was two sizes off. To me, that is defective. When clothes aren't true to size, it becomes a guessing game when you're doing online shopping, and who fits the bill when the consumer guesses wrong and just wants to simply exchange an item? Well Kohls believes the consumer should fit the bill, which to me is no reason to ever shop there again and no reason for anyone to shop there in the first place. What kind of loss would Kohls suffer for an exchange? Not a refund, but an exchange? And if you're wondering why I didn't just drive to Kohls and exchange the items that way, well, that's because I live remote. 97% of American is rural, and many of these rural town don't have a Kohls. I live 4 hours away from a Kohls, and I'm just guessing, assuming that the largest city near me has one, it might be even further than that. This is why I did an online order in the first place. I have no choice but to order online, and why should I? If each time is a guessing game and each time I'll be fitting the bill for every exchange I make in the name of Kohl's poor policies, then why bother? And honestly, Kohls prices have hit an all time high. I hadn't ordered from here in a long while for that reason, but the sales were decent and I have a kohl's card, so I bit, only to have to pay more for an exchange. Yes, that to me is bad business. Just because it's your 'policy', doesn't make it a good business move and seeing as though many other billion dollar companies are more generous, there's no reason to not go with them. And here's some advice for parents out there that shop at Kohls for kid's clothing, go to H&M. Their clothes are about the same price, their sales are way more generous, the clothing, shoes and accessories are way more stylish, they are true to size, and most importantly, their return policy comes with a label.
