So I forgot to pay my kohls card in December (which never happens) & wanted to make sure I didn’t miss January. I paid it on the Kohls app on Jan 20th but noticed it didn’t come out of my bank. So did it again, still didn’t come out. I realized there was a problem with their app & my payments were not showing up in their “scheduled payments” section so I entered a payment a third time on their website
Then three payments of $179 came out of my bank account
When I called the rep said they can’t refund the 2 that came out in error which I said was fine but asked they credit my account for the next 2 months - he said no problem
Then I get my feb statement with a minimum payment
Sorry for the long explanation but hopefully it helps you see how horrible their customer service is
Next I speak to a supervisor who was not only unhelpful but said “ why didn’t I call them after the first time the payment didn’t take”. Refused to address the problem with their app & made it sound like it was my fault. Clearly no one has taught kohls about customer etiquette.
I was also told Kohls CUSTOMER service managers will not speak to customers - WTH????
So I contact corporate, Shelly the executive lead to the president told me it’s kohls policy to not have the call center managers talk to customers, they can’t do anything about the 2 extra payments & did not even acknowledge the problem with their app
Honestly if you want to buy from kohls use Citi Visa, their customer service is exceptional & they will move mountains to please their customers!

shocked
I went to Kohl's in Maple Grove today to find some things for my 91 year old Mother-in-law and I was shocked what corporate has done to their stores. The prices are almost as expensive as Macy's and Nordstrom's.50 bucks for a women's Champion sweatshirt and handbags are buy one get on 1/2 of.How many people buy 2 handbags,so to get the deal you have to buy 2,otherwise your paying 70.00 for a purse.Almost everything is buy one get one 1/2 off.I noticed how empty the parking lot is also.If I'm going to pay those prices then I am going to Macy's I don't know what happened ,but Kohl's was very reasonable but not anymore and I won't be returning again and I'm closing my account.

Kohl’s Cash is so shady
Bought a product at Kohls.com because it was mentioned I would receive $30 in Kohl’s Cash.
However, I didn't see their e-mail and now it's "Expired". The expiration date is also VERY short, good luck with that.
Customer service say they cannot do anything to help. Suuuuure, it's not like if you had full access to my Kohl’s account and could add $30 in there.
Well done Kohl's, you've just lost one more customer.

I ordered an item on December 5th.
I ordered an item on December 5th, 2021. to be delivered. It never got there.USPS said it had been returned to the sender. So on Dec. 6th, I ordered a replacement item. Same thing. I tracked it to the end and it was never delivered. Since then I have been trying to get reimbursed on My Kohl's card. It is now January 26, 2022, and nothing. No customer service said it could take 30 to 50 days. The person I spoke to saw the same thing when he pulled up the tracking order.WHY NO REIMBURSEMENT THEN !!?

Absolutely atrocious customer service and CEO
Absolutely atrocious customer service! I received an email welcoming me to the Kohls account card when I never opened an account. I contacted customer service regarding this fraud and three weeks later it has still not been resolved. Customer service do not read the details of correspondence and one had to repeat oneself constantly. Darlene A has not resolved this by deleting my account and neither she nor the CEO, Michelle Gass, have responded to my emails. I was asked to provide my personal details to verify my account when I never provided my details in the first instance! I was asked to provide my social security number - I’m not a US citizen and don’t even live in the US. What a nightmare.

Kohl's.com: Necessary Update
2nd Update (7/14/2022): Was so frustrated with Kohl's offshore Customer Service that I took a several month break from giving them my business.
This month I went ahead and placed a few orders. I received a damaged Eddie Bauer hoodie, stained on both sides of the fabric, around the banding and an arm. THAT'S NOT THE REASON FOR THE 1 STAR REVISION. The revision is for the ATROCIOUS experience I had dealing with their CS rep, who said his name is "Man", employee #14UZ. Fifty minutes on the phone, and I had to call back to have it done properly - and to learn that the reference number he gave me was not even a valid one. Shopping there is not worth the stress,
1st Update:
It is with some degree of sadness, and a great deal of disappointment that I feel it necessary to update my original review. Now, let me first say that I have ordered A TON from Kohl's over the past year. I am talking HUNDREDS of orders. In the past two weeks - on two separate occasions - I have received damaged sweaters with NO TAGS WHATSOEVER. The first reeked of cheap perfume. The second had clearly been washed, which was evident in the fact that it is pilled and is two inches shorter than the four other identical sweaters I own.
Very aggravating, as were all the multiple times clothing came to me with the plastic security sensor still attached. Each time, having to be taken to the store for removal. I've been shorted items, have received the incorrect item on more than one occasion as well. Have not received items on several occasions - which I understand is really an issue with the carrier (except that TWICE large orders "died" after a shipping label was created.) In addition, recently I noticed a glaring price discrepancy, and when I called to have it fixed, the rep said there was nothing she could really do about it - but that she agreed that it looked wrong - and that for that reason she could fix it on "three" of the twenty-two items I had in my cart - but could not fix it on all (WTH???!). She said there was just too many (again, WTH?!) The last straw is....TONIGHT. I've been on the phone for over an hour and twenty-seven minutes, having to plead for a resolution. I have a shipment that was "Out for Delivery" on January 15th. It's now the evening of the 20th. The tracking shows an "EXCEPTION" occurred at 10:10 AM on the 15th, due to an "an incorrect address or label". The USPS timeline has shown "ALERT" - IN BRIGHT RED - since the 15th. It is now FIVE DAYS LATER WITH NO MOVEMENT. The offshore rep insists that since it does not say 'Delivered', that must mean it's still in transit - and get this, she says "Why don't you call back on the 26th?" (SIX DAYS FROM NOW!!!) To this IDIOTIC and rage-inducing statement, I demanded a supervisor. I was then kept on hold for an additional 30 minutes. I had to hang up and call them back, STARTING OVER!!! I am still on hold.
Dear Kohl's: It's been a bittersweet ride. I used to PRAISE the customer service received. I shop there all the time. Loved the Kohl's Cash, Rewards, and sales. I expect to run into problems periodically. It's never fun, but stuff happens. I also expect that when problems arise, they be dealt with LOGICALLY and without putting the customer through additional unnecessary upset. About NINETY-SIX or NINETY-SEVEN PERCENT of the time, my orders are fine. I especially like when they are shipped from a warehouse and thus without ever having been tried on or worn. Alas, right now I'm feeling that you do not appreciate the regular business I've given you over the years. Clearly you don't understand that the greatly increased hold times (presumably due to reduced staffing after the holidays), combined with attempts to delay resolution, are maddening. If your message is "We don't care", I HEAR YOU. And for this reason, once I've received any outstanding shipments, and have purchased enough Tek Gear sweatshirts to last me a lifetime, I will try giving some business to LL Bean and Nordstrom's (the only two department stores my husband will shop at, for exactly this reason). He insists that their Customer Service is so stellar that it should be a "no-brainer" to spend the extra money and get better service. I'm a sales-shopper though. LL Bean is not known for their sales, just as Nordstrom is not known for their deals.
And I do really love most of the items I've purchased from Kohl's. ERGH. Please train Customer Service on how to better research and handle issues methodically, and with COMMON SENSE. While there are many excellent Kohl's CS reps, the ones that are NOT are REALLY, REALLY NOT.
Updated to three stars. The three stars are for all that goes "right", Again, orders are predominantly without issue. It's just that when something DOES go wrong, far too often it's been anywhere from "very frustrating" to "downright infuriating" when seeking a resolution.

This is the worst website I have ever…
This is the worst website I have ever tried to navigate. I get locked out constantly and end up waiting on hold for someone to fix my issues. It is nearly impossible to get a person on the phone. I will be closing my account after nearly 20 years.
