HURT Physically and emotionally....I walked into Kohls and the door cut my…
I walked into Kohls and the door cut the inside of my toe wide open. After a friend searched for 5 mins for help, I was offered a tissue with hand sanitizer and a few band aids. No incident report was made. On Monday I called the store manager and asked what their protocol is, he explained a report should have been made, he then took all my info and told me someone would be calling me. 2 days later still no call, so i called back, he again took my info and the very next day i got a call from someone named Chris, who said he didnt look at the video but could give me $300.00. I told him I was going to have a doc look at my toe and get a tetanus shot, he said they cover my medical as well. An email was supposed to be sent to me that Friday with this offer, it never came and on Monday when i called him back his voice mail said he was on vacation for a week and a half and would not be checking messages. Funny how that was never mentioned. The day he came back from vacation he never called, I called him and was told to get him the eobs from my 2 medical visits. which I then emailed. These were submitted to my ins so the amount owed was less and once Chris received it all, I was sent an email to pay what the amount I now owe. There was No more $300.00 for hurting my toe. I called him and emailed him asking where the $300.00 is and He told me Kohl's was NOT liable at all and this was a courtesy basically. This amount now being offered was less than what was offered w/o even looking at the video. I have since called Corporate a dozen times. NEVER has a person answered the phone nor can you leave a message. I sent an email to Michelle Gass the CEO 2 weeks ago telling her everything in detail, no response. A week ago I sent that same email along with a short letter to Michelle Gass CEO and to customer complaints and here I am still NO RESPONSE. This Chris guy has been very rude, the customer service is just unbelievable. I even attempted to call the number 855-564-5705 yesterday which is according to Google where to file a complaint and the woman I spoke to said she can't transfer me to this dept and I'd have to call back. At this point I just laughed. Does Kohls not have a first aid kit nor the training to at least take a persons name and phone number. How about some customer service. It's been over a month now and my toe still hurts and has a nice scar. This company is TERRIBLE. They DO NOT Care about their customers. And I never did sign the offer which was way less than the original was that I never received from Chris Lundell prior to his vacation and also states that I can NOT tell the world about what happened on any media forums once signed.
