I’ve had nothing but issues with KnownHost since they transitioned from Host-Asset to their current name. My experience has been a complete nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering them to stay away. 1 -Terrible Customer Support Their support team is incredibly unhelpful. Whenever I reached out for help, I was met with dismissive responses and no real solutions. It’s clear they care more about their bottom line than actually helping their customers. 2 -Deceptive Pricing Practices When they transitioned from Host-Asset to KnownHost, they suddenly increased the renewal prices without any prior warning. What was once a fixed, reasonable price became an absurdly high renewal fee. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch, 3 -Unjust Account Suspension The final straw was when they suspended my account without any valid reason. They claimed I was sending spam emails, which was completely false. Upon investigating, I found that an injected file in my root directory—where I had nothing but a blank index file—was to blame. Instead of giving me time to fix the issue, they shut down my account in less than 12 hours! Not only that, but they attempted to close down my other domains, despite them being on separate invoices. This was outrageous and totally unacceptable. 4- Blame-Shifting and No Accountability They refused to take responsibility for the issue, trying to pin the blame on me, despite the fact that the problem originated from a security vulnerability on their end. This lack of professionalism and accountability is simply unacceptable from a hosting provider. Because of this, I’ve decided to move all six of my domains to a new hosting service. I wouldn’t recommend KnownHost to anyone. They’re untrustworthy, unprofessional, and only seem interested in taking advantage of their customers. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for hosting!

Customer Service reply was too quick and resolved within 30 minutes. Kudos to their Customer Service! Switching from A2 Hosting to KNOWNHOST with a new reseller 3 year plan. I won't have to overcharge my webhosting customers annually. Sleep well at night...

I've been using Knownhost since 2014. Our invoice for the next billing cycle (yearly) is several days overdue. I'd like to continue using their server, only downgrade to a lower pricing tier. To my surprise, the salesperson Deborah gave me an answer with a condescending tone. That I need to pay the invoice first, before they consider moving us to a lower tier. Obviously they're unwilling to help. Stay away from this horrible hosting company. Terrible service and rude people running the company.

Great customer support with timely responses. I'm a new and self taught website builder who knows just enough to be dangerous. Knownhost answered my questions and fixed my issues and provided advice to prevent it from happening again.

Bad support

I'm about to reach 18 years of having services with KnownHost. I think that says it all. Voy a cumplir 18 años teniendo servicios con Knownhost. Creo que eso lo dice todo.
