Slechte ervaring

Baggage Charge
On the way to Malta from Gatwick with Easyjet nil concerns with carry on luggage size and weight under 10 kg, coming back I had to pay for the same luggage as I was told it didn't fit it was too big and wasn't the right size.
I was then charged an extra 40 Euros and was told my hand luggage had to go under the plane even though this was allowed on Easyjet going to Malta.
I had purchased my suitcase specifically as requested by Easyjet.
If you ask me it's all a SCAM. Be careful with all these rules with KM MALTA
I WOULD NEVER TRAVEL WITH KM NALTA AGAIN STAFF ARE RUDE AND HAVE NO MANNERS WHEN BOARDING AFTER CHECKING IN.
As per instruction in ensuring I had the correct size luggage I purchased this luggage to Malta with Easyjet, how can the same luggage be acceptable going to Malta and coming from
Malta it's not acceptable.? Total rip off

Horrible experience
Horrible experience.
My suitcase arrived damaged after a flight from Malta to Düsseldorf on the 28th of February 2024. I’m still waiting for the refund to cover the costs of a new suitcase.
Worst customer service ever!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. Non existent customer service. None of the cutomer service numbers acctually work and there is no baggage allowance at all with the flight. my parents did not realise this and so then went on to try to add luggage only to find that they can't as they did not now have 48 hours before their flight. What an absolute rip off. You have runined my parents 4 day break. They have not been away in years and this was supposed to be a little break from the stress. Absolute charlatans

The baggage policy is ridiculous.
The baggage policy is ridiculous and not at all justified (if you can actually find it that is!). We paid for an extra bag, yet they still charged us at Malta's airport even though we didn't get charged on the way out!
You expect this sort of service from budget airlines, but not from the country's flag carrier. It's a shame they've decided to take this approach. Next time I'll use Ryanair.

Terrible service
I only had one bag with me and the staff at the gate randomly selected me to check in my carry on luggage. Even people behind me could take their carry on with them.

Very bad customer experience
Very bad customer experience. The luggage policy is really confusing and no additional information is provided. Therefore, once you arrive at boarding, you have no choice than to pay the extra amount. We were absolutely not informed about this policy and prices. This habit is really from low-cost airlines and is not at all expected from a national airline company such as the official airline from Malta

Shambles of an "airline" and I haven't even flown yet!
On 1st March 2024 I booked a flight London to Malta, that bit was easy.
When I wanted to add luggage later their website said I had to call to do this, so on Sunday 3rd March, I did. I paid the additional €5 per bag for doing so on the phone, even though the website said this was the only way to add after booking, and requested 2x 20kg checked bags for me and my wife.
5 days later I get an email saying they have added 3x 10kg hand luggage, with priority boarding, for me, my wife and son... which is clearly not what I asked for.
I thought another call would sort this out so I called as soon as I could (Friday 8th March) and explained, only to be told by the advisor, after some time on hold while he apparently checked with a supervisor, that they'd have to 'email someone' to 'listen to the call' and come back to me. I'm not sure why they're so suspicious, as it's the same price so I wouldn't have much motivation to make this up, but assumed they would listen to the call, realise their mistake and fix it.
On 18th March, having had no update, I contacte them through the contact form on their website (because obviously they don't provide an email address, that would be too easy to evidence).
On Tuesday 2nd April I called again, and was assure a callback from a nice-sounding gentleman called Shamison on the Thursday morning. It's now Sunday and I was left on hold, in a queue of 6, for 30 minutes and counting, hoping they answer before they close for the day. They didn't, instead offering me "press 1 for a callback" at which point, when I took them up on this, I was just told the offices were closed and they cut me off.
This excessive holding has already cost me a whack extra in call charges since they don't even provide a UK contact number.
The most annoying bit is it turns out that when the website said that to add extra baggage after booking you had to call them or "visit our sales office at Malta International Airport" it wasn't true, you could add it in Manage My Booking (a fact of which the site has been updated to inform you now).
