Ich habe seit Jahren 2x täglich 2 Methformin 500 genommen und mich ansonsten um Ernährung nicht so gekümmert. Jetzt habe ich leider eine Autoimmunkrankheit dazu bekommen und muss Kortison nehmen. Dadurch steigt der Blutzucker für 6-8 Stunden dramatisch an. Durch die App habe ich die Ernährung verändert und siehe da, die Blutzuckerspitzen sind weniger hoch und ich nehme nur noch eine Tablette täglich, weil durch Weglassen verschiedener Kohlehydrate, vor allem weißes Brot, Kuchen, Reis und Nudeln, ich ab Nachmittag/Abend eher im unteren Werte-Bereich, also unter 100 liege. Wäre es nach meinem Arzt gegangen, hätte ich gegen die Kortisonspitzen noch zusätzlich spritzen sollen. Mit richtiger Ernährung und etwas Bewegung kann man den Zucker gut beherrschen.
