I ordered on 10/24….10 days later I can not get a response on status. All I want now is a refund and no one will answer my request. This company is a complete scam.

Michelle - we replied in a timely manner to your request as advised on our website (24-48 hour response time) and even refunded you just as asked. You messaged us on October 24th and we replied October 25th.

I was looking for a lighting solution for a particular workspace issue. The sleek design and the small footprint was my choice. Unfortunately, I purchased 2 and only one of them works. I contacted the company and they are asking for a video of the thing not working. They are threatening retaliation of this review unless I send them video of their lamp not working… Think about that, a video of their lamp not working… Since I purchased 2, I can tell you they got it half right - one of them does work and is a good solution I was seeking. But, in my view, a company that produces 50% defective products, and is poised for retaliation for a review highlighting that, tells me these folks are used to this. They’re used to fielding complaints with threats.

As relayed on our return policy page, terms of service page, checkout page, and product page - we are happy to refund every customer for a defective light given they can send us a video/photo of the defectiveness. This allows us to fight against fraudulent customers who claim their item is defective without showing any evidence Additionally - it is a lie to say we are "threatening retaliation" of this review. All we have done is offered you the information above prior to purchasing and after to purchasing in order to receive a refund. We don't even require you to return the item for a refund. All that is needed is simple video / photo proof. It seems you are categorizing our request for video proof as a threat. But please keep in mind - if we do not have this process in place.... any fraudulent customer can claim defectiveness and receive a new lamp immediately. absolute garbage! don't buy these, they look great but two lamps stopped working after a couple of weeks after purchase and the company refused to refund or repair

Kaufe nie Leuchten von Klarako, dass ist eine chinesische Firma, die alles sehr schlecht kopiert und alles aus Plastik herstellt. Bilder sehen sehr schön aus, alles aus Metall sehr schön verarbeitet, aber das Produkt, was man bekommt, ist billiger Plastik-Schrott aus China! Des weiteren ist die Batterie-Dauer der Leuchten lächerlich kurz. Finger weg von diesem Hersteller!!!!!! Die Falle kaufe 1Stk. und bekomme 2Stk der selben Leuchte ist auch der Grund, weshalb viele kaufen, aber der Wert der Leuchten ist so lächerlich niedrig, dass man 10Stk. davon bekommen sollte. Leuchten kann man in den Müll kippen und das Original aus Dänemark kaufen... rené meyer

Also - do keep an eye out on copycats of our brand. There have been many reviews here that have been deleted due to them experiencing bad service from another brand selling similar products.

I ordered several lights but received one damaged shipment. I sent a picture via the web form and asked for a replacement on July 14th. On July 17th, I received a response informing me that a replacement would be sent to me with a tracking number. I followed up two times on 7/29 and 8/1, asking for an update since the tracking number did not correlate to a shipping company (USPS, UPS, or FedEx). No response. On 8/5, I received an email informing me that my replacement had been shipped to an address in Arizona. I don't live in Arizona. I don't know anybody in Arizona. And I have no idea why a replacement item would be sent to a different address that's not mine! I immediately responded letting Klarako know that this is not where I live.....NO RESPONSE. Customer Service is horrible, and while they claim to warranty their products, what they don't say is that they are a nightmare to deal with and actually don't. I would not buy from this company again.

Hi Ana, thank you for your message. We are sorry about the issue we have caused with your order. The damaged happened upon shipment and NOT with the manufacturing of your order, which we checked prior shipping your order. This is not an excuse on our end, but we just wanted to clarify where the order went wrong. After this, we have offered you a refund via email. Saying our customer service isn't replying is not true. We have replied twice to your emails trying to refund you the full amount. Saying our warranty doesn't exist is also not true. I know you are angry with how this played out - and I am deeply sorry about this. But lying about how we are trying to solve this isn't right. We would love to compensate you and will continuously try to do so.

the lantern does not operate as it should. it turns on and off on its own and will change settings when I'm far away from the lantern . shipping was lethargic at best and customer dis-service folks want me to sit and take a video of the lap doing the crazy on/off. I'd avoid this company. See reply. Again I'd avoid them.

Hi David - it is mandatory for any customer to provide a video of the defective lamp. This is written in our refund & return policy located on our website on the product page, checkout, and the individual page. When you purchase from us, you agree to this policy. If we do not ask customers to submit a video as proof, there is no guarantee that the item is defective. We hope you are also able to see this from our side Klarako Customer Support

Hi Lars - your name is not in our system. You also commented on our ads but your name nor your address is in our system. Please send us an email with your order confirmation because we can't identify your order therefore we are unable to help

Placed an order and was told allow 2-4 days for tacking to be active. Over a week later and no tracking or shipping confirmation. Now they say I could only cancel in first 24 hours. They have my money and i have no clue when or if I will ever receive my order. Shop with a more reputable company. Not these scammers.
