Might as well just Google your symptoms
I had an eye infection with discharge. It's something I had before, it usually clears quickly with antibiotic eye drops. I did the K health AI app, which connected me to "chat" with a physician. But the physician felt like a bot. Gave a canned answer I could have googled (use warm compresses) and would not prescribe anything. When I followed up with a request, pointing to my medical history and prior treatments, I got another canned response and a Thank you. You're welcome. Good-bye. I'm not convinced I ever spoke to a live person. I know chat bots that are more personable than this k health "doctor." I tried the supportive treatment, but my eye kept getting worse. Reached out to another telehealth provider (Teladoc) where I actually video chatted with a real doctor, who immediately thought the infection was bacterial and prescribed me antibiotic eye drops. Within 24 hours, my eye was 100% better. Immediately canceled my k health subscription.
