Made a one time appt for $73 on June 20, once I got on with a physician, she told me I made the appt in acute care by mistake. That I needed primary care. She stated she would mark it as “care not given” and I could make a new appt at no charge for primary care. I made an appt for the following day with primary care and it would only let me make the appt by paying the $49 fee. So, I’m out $122 at this point. The primary care doctor on June 21st said she did not see the lab results I had submitted the day before, so she ordered an entire new panel. She pretty much did not want to help until she saw labs results, so that appt was a waste of time. Made a new primary care appt for June 24 to give time for lab results to be uploaded. Saw another physician and he also could not see the labs results and basically couldn’t help me until he saw them. I uploaded all the same lab results that the first primary care doctor ordered, so I am not going to have labs repeated. At this point, I feel like I’ve wasted time and money to get absolutely no solutions. I don’t have any way of knowing when or if my lab results were uploaded to my account, so I don’t know when to make a new appt. I was left feeling more defeated than before I began all of this.

Thorough exam. Convenient. Difficult to get questions answered or follow up after visit is completed. Multiple emails and messages sent just to confirm records were received and no communication back.

I liked that the doctor was thorough in his questioning about my symptoms but I felt like I couldn’t fully speak up. As a result, I was not able to get antibiotics and a new inhaler which is all I needed (according to the urgent care I went to afterwards which was free) — and I wasted $73.

I thought the AI/chatbot experience to eventually get to a doctor was exceedingly long and frustrating. I felt like I answered too many questions when I specifically put my request/question/issue in my initial text/chat. Having to answer very individual issues, which didn't seem to fit exactly what my problem was related to, was frustrating. It would have been nice if your AI/chatbot was more sophisticated to just take my initial request/concern and then decipher and route me to a doctor sooner/faster. The doctor was great, though, very swift in diagnosing, answering questions, and submitting a script to my pharmacy.

When giving a prescription, I wish you would ask if we want generic (maybe that will interfere with kickbacks or whatever). Some of us don’t have $50 to spend on a prescription.

I wish there was a follow up, I have a sinus infection I know. And they said when I checked in after 5 full days of symptoms there was nothing I could do. I now am on day 7 and feel terrible. I feel as if I need antibiotics and I probably won’t be using this again because I am still so sick. Tomorrow is day 8 of being sick,

This is my second experience with K Health for a minor, urgent health issue that needed a short course of medication to resolve. The first time I used it, I would have given it 5 stars for access, speed, and convenience. This time, however, I was disappointed. After being asked once for my preferred pharmacy and a second time to confirm my preferred pharmacy, the system allowed the provider to default to the pharmacy I selected the first time I used the app which was in a different state. Unknowingly, I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medications to find they were not there. Then, the options in the app were difficult to navigate and to figure out what happened and why my prescription was "lost." I recommend a path in the online chat for help when the patient gets "stranded" after the diagnosis but before selecting the "not feeling better" option is logical. I chose K Health that day for convenience; I knew my problem but needed help getting a prescription to begin treating the problem without taking hours out of my day to go to urgent care. I was willing to pay 2x my copay out of pocket for this service. However, it ended up taking two trips to the pharmacy, several phone calls/chats, and a 6-hour delay in treatment so I did not get the return on my "investment." Next time, I will go to urgent care.

The app is terrible. The medical staff is good; at least the ones for my annual exams.
