Reglas a menudo incoherentes y que sólo benefician a Amazon y perjudican a los autores. Nula comunicación con ellos cuando hay algún problema. Quien se considere escritor de verdad, que no publique jamás con ellos, sólo le están haciendo ganar dinero a una empresa que no deja un duro en nuestro país.

KDP - look at this review board - does not care in the least about our complaints… Never will! There is hardly any human response when in need of assistance because the AI flagged something generic that is actually not a violation. Amazing makes the bigger share of your book spellings and the print quality of sample books is beyond lousy, I have to date never received a product printed as correctly set with margins, bleed or even “straight” and when ordering books; it takes sometimes over 3weeks to receive the product. It’s lousy in the least and yet, Amazon is aware there is no alternative available. So they let it run… nearly 600 reviews later and nobody reached out to help publishers to correct valuable input! That’s how much they care: Thats the response by a billionaire claiming to provide a service to the public!

The final page where you make all of the key decisions sticks to those decisions sometimes. I filled it out and specified a launch date, giving me plenty of time to make as many corrections as possible. I specified June 23, 2026 as a preferred launch. They literally said I had up until the 18th to make any changes. Fair enough. That was on the 4th. Got my first Proof. Made corrections and set out for the 2nd proof. The original information, to my surprise was still there, so I did not think I had to go through the process again. I was wrong. Though it kept the original information and appeared that I only needed to re-upload, look at the preview and click the send a proof button, I did just that. It was now the 9th. Thinking I had plenty of time to make any corrections, I get a call on the 11th, as I’m waiting for my proof to come 2 days later. Still under the impression I had until the 18th. The caller informed me that the book was out. I called KDP and they said the date was not re-checked for the 23rd. Yet on the 9th I received an email saying there were corrections needed. I was under the impression they would not move forward if they found errors. SHAME ON YOU KDP!

KDP ha reso estremamente complicata l'identificazione dell'utente. Non dà scampo. Se non riesci ad inserire le immagini nel modo che intende (se sbagli più di tre volte ti blocca) non potrai più usufruire dei servizi. Niente copie per l'autore, niente correzioni. Chiuso per sempre. Ho protestato per mail così: Vorrei confermare la mia identità ma, nonostante vari tentativi, non riesco a farlo. Come posso fare? devo abbandonare l'account oppure farne un altro, che magari presenta lo stesso problema? Ed ecco la risposta: Grazie mille per aver dedicato del tempo a contattarci. Posso solo immaginare quanto sia stata frustrante per te questa esperienza di verifica dell'identità e apprezzo davvero la tua pazienza durante tutto il processo. Voglio essere completamente trasparente con te su come stanno le cose. Contrairement à ce qu’affirme Jeff Bezos la priorité n’est pas le client. Je vous donne deux preuves : - 1️⃣ j’ai eû un bug de validation de carte bancaire. Et ça été la catastrophe. L’assistance Amazon c’est de la 💩. Service délocalisé pour faire plus de bénéfices 👎 On m’a promené de service en service pour aucune solution. Pire ils sont INCOMPÉTENTS et m’ont raconté des conneries : nécessité d’avoir un compte vendeur. C’est faux : un auteur n’en a pas besoin. - 2️⃣ Pire Amazon KDP se moque des auteurs. Afin de publier un ebook il existe une norme ePub 3, mais du haut de son monopole arrogant Amazon ne le respecte pas et gère indépendamment son standard. Il existe bien des logiciels fournis par la marque mais c’est de la 💩. Une mise en page se retrouve en vrac tout décalé. Merci 🙏 Jeff tu te foutrais pas de ma gueule ?-
