Their customers service is trash. They claim that I don't have rights to my books and that they sent me multiple messages that I didn't reply to. I have replied to every message that came through my account or email from their reps. The only messages were for the new product Vella platform were I had a conversation with a rep that I can submit episode from my book on this platform as they only want new material there. After they explained that I did not try to submit again. But that is not what was explained as to why my account was terminated. I replied to the messages and all of the conversation that were sent to me. The lack of reasoning to why my account was terminated took this long and you have failed to explain why my account was terminated still. I have submitted all of the requested information from me by any of the reps I spoke with through our conversations. The reason people keep telling me why my account was terminated is that I don't have rights. I am the only person that have rights to either of my books. I have provided this information when requested as well. The lack of customer service to clearly explain why my account was terminated or what I did wrong is terrible. I am still waiting on the answers to this day after I have requested this information over 20 times now.

I haven't got a dime in 2 years from KPD who claims im getting paid. They do not report all copies sold, change the prices when they want when they are doing well, and send out not good quality books. They to me scam people. I dont understand why its so hard to be honest. They want to make the money from all sales 100%.

I recently had to change my cellphone number for my safety from an abusive ex I escaped; obviously I didn’t know my new number before it got disconnected so I could change it on my Amazon KDP account. Every time I log in and the two step verification sends a code it obviously goes to a number I have no access to. I’ve emailed KDP and got nowhere. I called yesterday to explain the situation and after 30 minutes arguing with the guy on the other end I asked for his supervisor; he asked me a lot of questions and after I answered them all correct he said he couldn’t verify me because my account has been inactive for some time; my father had died in 2017 and I took a break from writing to take responsibility as administrator of his estate. Still stuck in limbo! Have to update bank info to receive royalty payments and can’t receive my money because no one will help me! I even asked if I could send an image of my drivers license and was told I couldn’t. Wth! Amazon is making money of my books but I’m not because I can’t get into that account!

So, I published a book with KDP. Then I tried to publish another book listing the same contributors. The give the option of listing contributors, so I listed them. For some reason, this time around, the content review team decided I listed too many contributors, that it would confuse readers, which made absolutely no sense as I'd just published a book with the same contributor names. Nevertheless, I reduced the contributor listed, to the point where I just listed the author and editor. They still took issue with this, saying it will confuse readers. I emailed them, but they hit back with the same generic responses, never bothering actually answer my questions. After ages I got a manager to call me, but he was from the wrong department and so couldn't tell me anything. I am still none the wiser as to why I'm given the option of listing contributors, but can't actually list them. Why on earth would it confuse readers? I have just attempted to publish another book, listing just an author and illustrator, but again for some reason, this might confuse readers. The eBook has been published with the contributor names, but for some reason, listing the same names for the paperback will confuse readers. I am baffled and have not words except avoid publishing and dealing with Amazon KDP at all costs. I would've given zero stars if I could.

There is absolutely no set standard during the KDP Book Review Process. I created two low content books. Exact same interiors just different covers. One got approved and the other rejected due to margin issues? How did the other get approved if there were margin issues? I have also asked KDP to move my books into certain categories that other successful books (very similar almost identical to mine) and they said they couldn't put them in the categories requested as they don't fit the category yet the other books are there. It's basically a crap shoot. If you get someone who hates their job they will take it out on your work.

A horrible experience. Sean Diddy Combs went ballistic, and had his attorney Jonathan Davis cancel my publishing account after publishing The Adrenochrome Witch documentary June 2020. It was simply a prayer for the late George Floyd, and about evil people in the U.S. This was sick, unfair, and against the so called U.S. Constitution Freedom of Speech. The U.S. is a joke. A black man, I infringed on my civil rights. Diddy is a contradiction.
