Missing royalties, missing book sales and poorly managed record keeping on Amazon's end, all this and in addition, poor customer service... Since 2016, I check my KDP account almost every third day. I've begun seeing a pattern where my books are selling, but the royalties aren't showing up or either immediately after a digital download, or long after a book order has been placed. Then I check three days later and it shows nothing for monthly sales to date and no royalties. Three days later, royalties there, but, no sales. Three days later, no royalties, no sales. Information seems to disappear, as well as my sales and royalties. Even after clearing app/website caches and refreshing pages, information still is a hit or miss for continuity. I'm looking to self-publish elsewhere after dealing with this poorly managed accounting system Amazon has. Their account information is never correct. Oh, and the "royalty for pages read" is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of, at far less than a penny a page.

I have been trying to get a refund for the incorrect author's copies sent to me and my inventory for old versions of my books destroyed so that they don't go out for customers' orders, but it has been a month and there has been no movement on this. All I get is the run-around. There is no intention to resolve this. DON'T PUBLISH WITH KDP. THEY WILL NEVER ASSIST YOU WITH ANYTHING.

Tell us how we can help ...Dear KDP, I first like to tell you how absolutely traumatizing dealing with you has been. I had previously admired Amazon and shopped with them over many years, as my account will show. But this arm of its business is absolutely abysmal . In june I tried to publish my first book, I was excited and very proud. It had taken me nine months to bring it all together. I paid for it to be proof read. I paid for it to be made print ready and I paid for a company to make a beautiful book cover .Then kdp came on to the scene . First a spiteful former friend accused me of plagiarism. It was not true but without even asking me you pulled my book . Since then you have consistently refused to publish, despite the fact that the infringement was detracted and I was proved innocent of any wrongdoing . You persistently ask me to provide proof of the book being mine .What proof do you usually ask your clients for ??. My book has never been published before, therefor I cannot provide you of notification from a previous publisher . I cannot provide you with a letter from the author, because I am the author and now you have the audacity to close my account while still selling my book. I realise that I cannot take Amazon to court but What I can do is send this message and the many others on trust pilot to every English newspaper and ask them to investigate this customer service from kdp and that is exactly what I intend to do !!

My account has been also terminated without warnings after 1 month as a new seller. I had no support at all. Extremely bad experience from the KDP USA team. I know that I made some sales. I hope they will pay me my royalties before they terminated. I read so many reviews that they blocked people's accounts without paying them royalties. Is that true ?????

My KDP account was terminated due to having multiple accounts which I did not have. The emails received are generic and no matter what you say they send the same message again and again. It is just a robot sending the same e-mails. All the effort I put into it is gone. Thanks KDP, never again! Further, my e-mail account is spammed. I only used the e-mail address for KDP to see if they are trustworthy. No! So be careful. After 10 e-mails I am convinced that no real person is reading these mails. It is a simple robot which is giving the same text time and again. In other words there is no customer service!

Tried to get in contact with their team for a login issue. No answer on the phone, to send an email you must be logged in so, no help there as well. A big mess.

I ordered 2 books on July 18th to complete a set for an upcoming event. The estimated delivery said Aug 2-4. Fine. Then I get the "shipping" email on July 22nd to see the estimated date for delivery is now SEPT 8th! What? I tracked the package, which left the printer in SC and arrived in an Amazon facility in NC. Date must be a mistake, right? I talked to 4 different customer service reps at Amazon. Two said it was a computer glitch, but unsure how to change it. I got transferred to a 3rd, who told me to "reorder" the books for faster delivery. REALLY?? The fourth told me I had to wait until September as they couldn't contact the fulfillment center to correct the issue. SIX WEEKS OF SITTING IN A FULFILLMENT CENTER?!?!?!?!
