Never ever turn to amazon kdp to publish a book they have left my account £790 in arrears by stealing money from me they lied to direct debit card disputes . I paid them to publish my children's book they kept saying yes it will be published and kept delay by months publishing it so I demanded a refund. They lied say they refunded but didn't, so I turned to direct debit card disputes at lloyds bank .. I got my money back through direct debit card disputes. Amazon tryed to black mail me into close dispute I said no then all of a sudden amazon paid £790 in my bank so I phoned lloyds bank who said its OK give amazon kdp the money back as lloyds bank dispute team had paid me on amazon behalf so I said ok and sent the £790 back to amazon Amazon have lied said the £790 wasn't sent back and it was for something else but whst something else explain? As I didn't owe amazon anything. My first 2 books I published with amazon kdp months before I asked for 3rd book to be published they never published I made less than £30 in sales although I sold 18 books for £9.99 and kdp royalties e kindle sakes amazon i paid 2 thousand pound to publish books and they still kept the orofitsfrom my book sakes sending me a few pounds for each book sale. My bank is now over drawn by £790 as amazon lied to debit card disputesso please think before you publish with amazon they are a bunch of snakes stealing and conning you out of money Harry Wright and Zane his project manager are just money grabbing and conning innocent people I'm still waiting for lloyds debit card resolution department to sort this out as I have children to feed and I cant afford to be £790 over drawn in my bank due to amazon kdp lies ... 8 I've e now turned to trading standards and journalist to expose amazon kdp as a bunch of con men and corrupt organisation.

4 years ago I wrote some unique books that brought additional income. In the spring of 2022, I stopped receiving OTPs (one-time passwords). At the same time, I started receiving emails asking me to confirm my bank information, and all payments stopped. But I don't have access to my account due to two-step authorization. Support can't do anything about it, I wrote more than 50 emails, I get standard responses, after which nothing happens. My case is passed from specialist to specialist, but they haven't resolved it for more than 5 months. As a result, I do not receive money, and Amazon continues to sell my books. I don’t know what to do with this, apparently, Amazon is embezzling my money

Amazon Kdp is an arrogant giant ! After four months of working on the Amazon Kdp platform, they canceled my account on the grounds that I published a book with the same title of a bestseller, the same title exists and other authors who have not been blocked. They also canceled my royalty for September, although it was my first month of profit. They have canceled accounts after 5 years of work on the Kdp platform and they seem to me totally disrespectful to collaborators. At least a second chance should each have. Time lost, money spent on amazon ads campaigns and no cent earned. I will not do any kind of business with Amazon and I will never buy from them even as a customer. Bad experience!

They sent me a termination email for a title i have never seen or heard of before saying i published it. What nonsense… and now they will stay with my royalties. Bunch of sick people.

I hate to give one star where up until a few months ago they rate five stars . I just received 3 books and they are awful - does not match w the manuscripts I sent “successfully “. Compressed fonts , photos bleeding into text . Page number supposed to be at the top of the page , now down several inches . I just had my computer fixed / updated . Sent manuscripts after that and still got terrible results . Had to unpublish about 4 books .

I started off as a Createspace customer nearly 10 years ago, it then took over by KDP. I tried to log into my account a few days ago (as not done for about a year) and find that my email does not exist on the KDP seller site, even though the royalty notifications still come into the same email address. Their automated contact forms are a joke and the advisors when they do pick it up, do not even read it properly and full of assumptions due to the only 2 (irrelevant) options on the drop down box. . . the service is very poor via the online support and if you call up the contact centre in the US (of which I had to call from abroad and gentleman tried to be helpful as he understood the issue), they say to complete the online form. I am really frustrated as matter still not resolved.

Still trying to get a fix to an issue within kdp. I now have 8 new people trying to answer nothing because they don't read the emails you send. I'm sure after about 25 tries I'll finally find someone in Amazon intelligent enough to take responsibility to work out the problem by actually reading the email and being a good employee, to come back with solutions... but I wont hold my breath.

Whoever works at AMAZON KDP are probably the dummest people on this planet. The flagging empty composition books randomly. I have a number of identical composition books ready for publishing, the only difference is a minimal change on the cover for each book. They let pass 3 books but the 4th identical book they flag as copyright infringement. Even when you write long emails and explain everything you just get useless answers, from one person and 5 min. later from another person. When they are out of any knowledge they suspended my account, only to reopen it 6h later and block already published titles
