This is typical of the American ‘business’ model and it stinks. Draw you in, take large fees and provide no service and no phone number. I stopped using them and saved the stress, disappointment and frustration. Earned more on my own.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND EFFORT My account was terminated stating... During a recent audit of your account, we found content and/or activities that are in violation of our Terms and Conditions. Therefore, we are closing your account effective immediately......... This is inaccurate information. I did not violate any terms and conditions set by KDP. All content was within the terms and conditions set forth by KDP I launched over 25 books on the platform (All was approved within the guidelines) all of a sudden I received the above message from Amazon. I have emailed them several times without a response. I feel that KDP is a scam to keep your royalties I am beyond livid and disappointed with Amazon.....

Veramente imbarazzante il servizio clienti. Hanno terminato il mio account da un giorno all'altro rubandomi oltre 150 euro di royalties e senza darmi spiegazioni. Ho scritto ogni giorno per diversi giorni e mi hanno risposto con copia incolla senza realmente leggere i reclami. 150 non saranno tanti soldi, ma è veramente imbarazzante...

I had four fiction books on KDP Amazon. All seemed fine until last week when I had an aggressive email saying that my account had been terminated as I had multiple accounts which was not allowed. I have only ever had one account. I have tried emailing them but just get another aggressive email. I'm devastated and at a loss, I do not understand. No one can buy my books now. I'm truly shocked. They won't explain what has happened or how I can resolve this issue.

Similar to some others, I had been using Amazon since 2012. I updated a third edition to a book that had been online since 2015 and they suddenly claimed the cover which was a picture taken on my phone was taken from a website. Then they suspended my account over a book that WAS NOT EVEN A BOOK I HAD PUBLISHED! I'm in the process of moving everything away from them. It's nice to have the book available on Amazon, but not for this amount of hassle.

Mi sono accorto immediatamente che Amazon aveva mantenuto online la pubblicazione, con l’indicazione “Non disponibile”. Chiedo lumi al Servizio Clienti KDP. Mi risponde Raquel : “ … è attualmente spubblicato e fuori dal programma di KDP Select”. Rispondo che non è vero, che il libro si trova su Amazon. Gentilmente Raquel mi risponde . “ noi non siamo in grado di trovarlo, mandaci una schermata come ti appare a te “. Invio la schermata. Raquel sparisce, appare David ; tutti nomi tronchi, chissà perché. David mi scrive: “ non possiamo rimuovere completamente la pagina perché il tuo libro potrebbe essere venduto come copia usata “. Sono infastidito dalla scusa paradossale : se qualcuno vorrà vendere una copia usata provvederà a pubblicare l’offerta sul suo dominio … lì c’è scritto “Non disponibile”. Qual è lo scopo di tenerlo a catalogo ? Invio un ultima domanda, due volte: “Quando pensate di toglierlo?” Raquel e David sono spariti, nessuno risponde. NON PUBBLICATE SU KDP Ho speso circa 200 euro per comprare 10 copie Sono stato due giorni ad imparare ad usare Kindle Create e KDP Ho aspettato più di un mese per ricevere le copie stampare negli USA. Meglio la tipografia.

They will delete your account without any real explanation. They don't give you a warning or anything all your stuff is gone. Once you appeal it you go back and forth until they think your tired and willing to give up. After putting in all the work you did its deleted to never be seen again.

I was with kdp for 10 years. I have launched my first book on March 2013. During that period of time I launched at least 50 books of my own and of public domain. As a sudden a couple of days before Christmas 2022 they are terminated my account pretending that I am using online free royalty images and I do not have copyright proof for books which are in public domain as their authors are deceased more or less 100 years ago. furthermore they closed my account telling me I will not receive royalties for my sales of the current month which was my best selling month ever. I think a group of fanatics with middle age believes has taking control of this American company and trying to rob the best selling accounts. We should reunite our strength to let the executive staff know what is going on below them.
