Hello,
Thank you for your email concerning the status of your account.
We’ve reviewed the information you provided and have reevaluated the relationship between previously terminated accounts and your account. Our evaluation process takes multiple criteria into consideration when establishing relations between accounts, and we take action based on those criteria.
Upon further review, we are upholding our previous decision to terminate your account and remove all your books from sale on Amazon. Having multiple accounts is a violation of our Terms and Conditions, and we are confident that your account is related to an account that has already been terminated due to violations of our Content Guidelines. As a result, we will not be reinstating your account.
Please note that, per our Terms and Conditions, you are not permitted to open new accounts and will not receive future royalty payments from additional accounts created.
If you have questions or believe you've received this email in error, reply to this message.
Regards,
Amazon KDP

One customer service supervisor was…
One customer service supervisor was finally trying to sort out the issue I faced with my book being deleted in error. This person (Maggie) was a rare example of someone who actually cared about providing a good service.
Out of the blue that person was replaced by someone who did nothing to help and just sent inane emails. This is the same as 95%of the 'support' people I have interacted with at KDP. I dread getting emails from kdp.
There seems to be no accountability at all.

Amazon KDP Robbed Me
I having a rough time. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing with Amazon.com just robbed me, and I’m not staying silent about it. I self-published my book, and they canceled my account for some unknown reason with no way to speak with an account manager, let alone a supervisor.
They deleted my account and have decided to keep ALL of my royalties after having both my account and book approved and selling for over a month:
-I had several 5-star reviews and had sold over 75 copies of my book.
-Amazon was also happy also to take my money when I placed an ad with them.
This may not sound like a lot, but it’s a devastating blow to my small business and to me personally. I’ve been researching this issue, and there are hundreds of others who have a similar story to mine.
Small independent writers who have had their accounts cut off and voices muted with no one to speak to at Amazon KDP to figure out what’s going on.
Just a letter saying your accounts have been terminated. If you have any questions, see the terms and conditions.
I tried multiple times to reach out. Amazon KDP does not offer a phone number or physical address. Sto they gate keep all of their information. They send an auto-response saying they would get back to me, which they haven't.

Literally the worst service imaginable
Literally the worst service imaginable. Double standards for their moderators. We were publishing books on KDP for a decade, with thousands of books. And a single moderator didn't like one so terminated the entire account for no valid reason. Hundreds of support tickets to try and get the account reactivated and they simply ignore you. As this is hundreds of thousands of hours of work, we are forced to start a lawsuit against Amazon KDP for destroying our companies work. Their terms and conditions state that they can terminate your account for any reason they like. We are completely appalled by their service and will be reaching out to other publishers to take place in this Class Action Lawsuit.

Longtime author account deleted out of the blue
I have been an author with Amazon since the early 2000s. Yesterday, they terminated my account and deleted all of my books, saying that I had violated their TOS by having a "prior account that had been terminated". I have never had any other account than the one I have (I have not published any new books since 2014). If you try to get an explanation or proof, they just send a boilerplate template saying "we know you had a prior account". And that's it. Horrible, horrible customer service (well, basically non-existent, there is no way to actually contact an actual person). Stay away from Amazon if you don't want your books to disappear into thin air in minutes. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option.

NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE / DON'T RECOMMEND
If I could give amazon negative stars, I would. Several months back I created a KDP account, created a couple of books which were reviewed and approved by amazon, both my books went live as approved by amazon once more. I even ordered several author copies for myself which of course I had to pay for and all copies were mailed to me. As soon as I received my last copy, I went to sign on to my KDP account to only not be able to see any of my books but all I could see when I logged in was "This account has been closed". I was in shocked and decided to email them and apparently I received an email that if you do your research, a lot of people have been getting. I will paste it below so you can see.

I emailed them and this is the response I received, mind you, this is the response after my book had been APPROVED by amazon and gone live.

Thank you,
I emailed them this information on 3/22/23 and they emailed me back the following day.
I'm extremely disappointed with amazon after all the hard work that I did to make these books come to life.
Just to go off topic a little bit, I also opened their credit card some years back and they closed my credit card without notifying me, mind you I have excellent credit and always pay head of time, if not, pay all of my credit card off every month. I was thrown off but left it alone since I didn't need the credit card and now this comes up. And I've read that this has happened to other people with excellent credit that opened an amazon card.
On another note, I bought anything and everything on amazon constantly, have subscriptions with products for them for years. It was my go to place. Well, I'm cancelling all of my subscriptions and will not order from them anymore. I will support other businesses that want to do better and honest business.
I would not recommend dealing with anything on amazon.

Amazon tut nichts gegen Fake-Rezensionen
