A few years ago I self published a book using kdp services. I subsequently unpublished it because I received an offer from a publisher. I had started an AD campaign and they kept asking me for money even if my book was no more on sale. I had to cancel the account. Last November I opened a new account to publish, first a paperback version of a new book. Then I tried to add the digital version. they blocked my book with the following reason: "We have terminated your KDP account because you have multiple accounts, which is a violation of our Terms and Conditions. Also, this account is related to an account that was terminated due to violations of our Content Guidelines". I had terminated the previous account following THEIR instructions... I felt insulted and I will never buy a book from Kindle anymore... I have lost all my trust in the company!

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Neben genug Problemen bezüglich Hochladen und Qualität unterstützt Amazon die Fake-Bewertungen, die ohne einen Kauf des Buches gegeben werden. Schreibt man den Support an, wird entweder gar nicht reagiert oder man wird an zig Stellen weitergeleitet, von denen auch keine Antwort kommt. Vor allem ist die Berechnung der Durchschnittssterne absolut unter aller S…! Warum bekommt eine einzige 1-Sterne Fake Bewertung sogar ohne Kommentar viel mehr Gewicht als 18 ehrliche 5 Sterne??? Es reicht einen verdammten Neider oder was auch immer aus, der Fake-Bewertungen feige ohne Kommentare oder manchmal sogar beleidigende gibt, die den gesamten Schnitt komplett runterziehen. Das resultiert gerade oft bei unbekannten Autoren für noch weniger Verkäufe. Gegen *solche* Leute geht Amazon nicht vor! Aber wenn bestimmte Politiker ein Buch über sich selbst veröffentlichen und das tausend negative Kommentare bekommt (unter anderem wegen Hass), da schränkt Amazon ein! Noch dazu besitzt Amazon die Frechheit, *echte* Rezensionen zu löschen, aber die Fakes dürfen bei denen ruhig bleiben, da sie ja „regelkonform“ sind. Lasst euch nicht hereinlegen, auch wenn es Anfangs „gut“ mit Amazon läuft! Sie verdienen mehr Geld an euch als andersherum!

Ich warte seit zwei Jahren auf Auszahlung meiner Tantiemen. Nirgendwo kann man die Auszzahlung beantragen. Aber das kennt man ja von diesem kriminellen Be..os. Die Arbeit darf man machen, sein Portal mit Content füllen, aber wenn es ans Auszahlen geht kann man lange warten. Ich habe meine Bücher dort gelöscht. TIPP: geht zu BOD, da passt es.

absolutley the worst company for publishers the royalities for print books are extremly low and if you do start getting sales they terminate your account for no reason and will not tell you why, they have gotten to big and dont care about Authors at all over 100 accounts have been terminated in november alone. It needs to be investgated no phone or chat support in 2024 billion dollar company ?Even accounts terminated that have done nothing wrong are not given any chance to explain. We need to stand up and not use kdp, All authors need to leave and move to a more transaprent publisher. other publishers pay out a lot quicker show you traffic stats and even name and emails fo your customer KDP shows us nothing we have to take thier word for it I for one dont trust them at all.

I paid over 809 for a book release with other publishings; ie blogs and other marketing but have received nothing but demands for more money. Alvis Dean has given others my info who has also contacted me for more money despite receiving nothing. I want my money back

This company is a scam! I can sum it up!!!! This company will tell you that you violated policy but they will not tell you what policies then they tell you that I'm dead when I give you your love because I just something that they've earned for all your hard work and using customer for them to benefit and profit! And we published our book even if you decide that you want to close our account you should not have the right to keep our royalties for all of the hard work that we put in! Not give us an actual answer to our questions treat us with so much disrespect and stayed at your answer is final from all of the hard work that we put in I don't understand how this is legal! They need to be out of business and then when you call Amazon Amazon can't give you an answer there's no actual person to speak to verbally to address the issue and they have you going around in circles stating that they're not really affiliated with them there's no actual number to contact them?! Excuse me you have billions and billions of dollars and their individuals placing their items on your site placing their books on your site trusting you that this company would be honest and this company is a scam they are a fraud and it should be illegal to sit here and scam people out of there hard-earned money that they actually deserve and they earned all of the hard work they put in the dedication that they put into their book! This company is a scam I would not advise anyone to place their books on the site because at the moment you think you're doing well they will rip the carpet from under you without any explanation of why they can commit fraud because this is what this is taking money of all the hard work that you've done then tell you that you don't deserve an explanation for it! They can conquer any lie they want to tell you that they're canceling your subscription or your account without giving you an accurate answer just to steal your money! Please be aware publish your own books do not use this company I don't even order anything from them anymore because if you're going to steal my books I don't even want to give you my money for ordering anything on your site! Report them to the Federal trade commission in the better Business bureau because if there's enough complaints on them then maybe someone will start investigating

Amazon KDP are one of the shadiest, least transparent publishing platforms you’re ever gonna find. They wasted 3 years of my creativity, financial investments & hardwork. My books were doing well in the market & getting nice ratings & just when I was about to get my biggest royalty yet, KDP terminated my account on grounds that I was “manipulating their services”. I appealed this decision & asked them to review it but nothing was done. (They gave me the same bot response. Same glitched bots that they employed over humans to randomly block accounts for no logical or understandable reasons). I’m currently going through depression & financial hardship right now because KDP literally took all my handwork/money away in a whim. Over $2000 in royalties gone with no warnings, no emails. This cannot be right! This cannot be legal in a sane world. I have a lot of resentment in me towards Amazon & whoever runs this platform. Please do not put your time and effort into this evil platform because they’re just laying in wait to ruin your life & rob you of your hardwork one day. They do not care about their authors. I’m currently working on a legal action. If BBB.Org can’t help me then I’ll take this to court.
